Manjiri
bollywood for Europe
by Manjiri on Jul 03, 2003 12:45 PM

It is great to know that hindi films are doing well in UK and US. In European continent, the films do seem to stike a chord with non-Indians. If we dubb them in local languages, Europe may grow to be a good market for our films. I have seen some dubbed hindi films in Germany. But we should look at doing it on a bigger scale. IT need not be our only strong point. I think dubbed Hindi films can make it big.

MAKDH is remake of Chit Chor
by Alisha on Jul 03, 2003 11:09 AM

This is a remake of Rajshris old hit Chit Chor
with Gori tera gav beda pyara song
starring Amol Palekar
Comparing Amol Palekars nice acting
with the over muscle and a fixed grin like Clinton
Rwithiwk (who can nevr act but run all around with a cot hannging in his hand)

I think Bachan was better though he did not come
like the Bachan Kareena film by Border fame director

Kareena wears swim suit but not exploited
she does a lot of waxing underarms

film was passable not boring but nothing new too
Chit chor was classic

Bad reporting!!!
by anand on Jul 02, 2003 09:31 PM

Arthur J. Pias must be kidding when wrote this article about "MPKDH" box office earnings! According to theater owners and exhibitors across the US, the film is a major flop. This kind of wrong reporting sends a bad message to viewers and above all producers who are trying to achieve transparent figures to better asess the market. It is a proven fact that the film has only earned approx. $275,000 not the $600,000+ reported by rediff. Go to realsource.com and check it out for yourself.
