Whoever this Arkay is, surely a prejudiced Kamal basher. He is not fit to write reviews for Indian movies. Please remove this review immediately, else people will get a false idea about a fantastic movie. Let Arkay write reviews only for movies by Ramarajan and RamaNarayanan.
This movie is for matured adult audience, not like Arkay who doesnt think on his own. Dont write something overheard, If a child asks why Nallasivam is so ugly, say Anyone fall from that high never look beautiful.
I may ask Arkay to write a review for Chity Chity Bang Bang. But still his ability is questionable.

I think almost all the reviews at rediff sucks! Hey guys at rediff, do something before you loose all your credentials! Don't let people like RK, who does not possess anything remotely resembling artistic sense and completely biased and grew up with the "kuthe, kameene, main tera khoon peejavungaa" movies, write reviews on your site. I saw the movie "Anbe Sivam" and I am still not able to understand how on earth somebody can write such a totally biased review for such a BEAUTIFULLY made movie???? I think,this RK should be given an OSCAR for "screwed up" reviewer ever born on this planet!! Though it's based on "Planes, Tains & automobiles" (L love that one!), it's entirely & refreshingly new on it's topic and handling. Hat's off to Kamal Haasan (though I am not great fan of him!). GREAT WORK, Sir!
Arkay should review " Shakeela movies" and not other movies for heavens sake. THats a horrendous movie review i have ever seen in a premier website..WEll did i say premier website,.. i take my word back.
Hey Arkay there are people in Rajinis, Vijaykanths etc. in abundant to satisfy people like you in Indian Movies. Atleast let us appreciate this lone single world class performer who can raise to the expectations of world class cinema from India. Please read review of Anandha Vikatan. Guys, Anbe Sivam is definitely a fresh air in Tamil Cinema.
I happened to C this movie.. just after reading this stupid review.. and trust me guys,, Rediff and this guy Arkay can never come close to Southindian film reviews.. let alone tamil movies. This movie is defn.. a visual treat with its unique technical aspects(which is totally absent in all other indian movies) As one respondent has aptly said here.. this movie will earn bouquets and applause if remade in Hindi (probably named HPKJ or V3K or XXXX). I personally feel that Rediff can do these following with immediate effect: 1. Take a resolution of reviewing only Hindi films(so that we southies don' give a damn (or dime) of what's going on out there.. and OR 2. appoint a well experienced and unbiased film Critic.. (I do mean this)
AND GUYS.. DON' MISS THIS FILM.. atleast not for the sake of all these dumb and stupid reviews.
I saw the movie after reading the review&the first question that came to my mind was-did this arkay guy really see the movie?I mean how can there be such a vast difference between the movie&the review.Sorry rediff,it's a shame that you have got people like arkay doing such an unprofessional job.If there is anybody out there having second thoughts about the movie,my advise is-just throw those thoughts&go,watch it.It's just excellent.
