Ash is Beauty, Kareena is gifted acting in Riyasat (karishma/kareena) today proceeding Rajkapoor's engine further. Ash on other hand is barbie doll with good figure and beautiful eyes.
As well it depends on movie's story and who the director is, small budget movie goes for OSCAR and big budget get into TRASH.
In case of Kareena she will get more better way in future atleast for 3 years she will be on TOP.
While In case of Ash she should look for HOLLYWOOD Movies (like recent rumours "Ash working in JAMES BOND").

While I am a big fan of Ash,I really dont think that her acting is good,atleast to take up roles in Hollywood!! I cant imagine her as a hollywood actress...her smile is too artificial.She fits perfectly for modelling and not acting...For sure not HOLLYWOOD!!
Its silly to praise kareena just for accepting the role! Let's see if she can act!!! Ash is ok.
But anyway lay off Hrithik,Shah Rukh and Amir! I bet you ,Kareena and Ash cannot play the roles Hrithik played in Koi mil gaya and Fiza, Shahrukh in Darr and Anjaam, and Amir in Lagaan... All of them have guts... to play different roles in commercial movies itself

With all due respect,I would have to say that Ash is not even close to an actress,leave alone the "best actress the world has ever" If Ash deserves the role she will get it....she need not snatch it!!She is very beautiful doesnt mean she is a good actress.She has the potential to do an Ad for Crest white strips but not a movie like "The hours"!!
i believe nandita das and antra mali are much more talented than ashwaria and kareena.ashwaria and kareena both r barbie dolls having good looks and both of them can give hit songs, but in the recent times both have failed to give a hit movie....i'm sure producer/director of the respected movies will repent on their decision after the release of their movies. ashwaria came on the big screen in 1994.in 9 years of her career she has given only 2 hits...namely 'hum dil de chuke sanam','devdas'
i was very surprized while reading this article.it's well moulded and well written too.Ash is a very talented actress.there's no problem if she acts in such movies because she has that potentiallity but what's happening to kareena?in my opinion,i dont think she's too talented.she came into bollywood just because her sis karisma has made some name.bebo came in as a sisi girl esp in films like k3g,ajnabee etc. but when she finally came up with rotten eggs,i think this is what u call "escapism"
