AAA is my favorite movie too. In India I saw this movie a number of times. When I moved to Canada, this was the first movie that i bought. Very very hilarious, you cannot feel content by just watching it once. I liked that someone out there gave words to how much I like the movie. Thanks.
Gawd, I never thought there are people who like Andaz apna apna. A very forgettable movie(if only I can forget). Normally I dont watch hindi movies, but I am ruing the day I decided to give it a try. 3 hrs of torture. Salman Khan was never known to "act" well. However in this movies he surpasses previous limits of ludicrous acting and shows the audience how absurd his acting or the lack of it is.
Actually, it aint Aamir or Salman Crime khan who need to be taken to task for a eminently disgusting performance. It is the likes of Sukanya Verma who need to get a lesson in what good acting or even "acting" is. Gosh! Andaz apna apna is a movie which needs to be taught in film schools on how "NOT" to make one. Horrible story line, a host of well known( I didnt say good actors) actors wasting their talent (or the lack of it) in a horribly directed movie with a even worse music score. Even a stage play by kids in second grade deserves better reviews. Andaz apna apna is not a movie. It was a mistake.
the best comedy movie in indian cinema . does not have a good story line but the dialogue delivery and the situational comedy is great. everone i know , likes this movie... hard to beleive that it did only an average business in the box office..probably bcoz it was released close to HAHK. as for the best scenee of the movie...it has to be the one where aamir and salman goto teja with the money ( maaiyat ka chanda )to get " uncle " back. ..and how aamir almost lured his father into selling off his hair saloon to open a chuudiyon ki dukan . !
It is an excellent movie. I remember having gone to Metro to see it and was cracking up the entire 3 hrs. And its been a family favourite since then. Infact, I just saw it again on video about 2 months and was still laughing...I always wondered why it wasn't a hit given the hilarious script and direction...Even Mehmood luring Prem with his Wah Wah Productions is a funny scene...the climax is out of this world...
yeah, I agree that AAA is a classic comedy..some of the dialogues even we frnds use when talkin to each other..its a movie we are never tired of sitting and watching together..one of the other dialogues I liked was " Abbe Teja main hoon..safedposh ramu " ;))..
