Couldn't agree with you more when you said that anyone who claims to be a movie buff is most likely to be a fan of AAA as well. I can still remember my friends literally jumping out of their seats and rolling in the aisles while watching the movie. This is one movie one watch again and again, and still laugh just as loudly as the first time one saw it. A cult classic!
I am fully agree with you on placing Andaaz Apana Apana in Bollywood's top 5 funnly-flicks. Everyone in the move has done great especially Paresh Rawal and Aamirkhan. They both are great.
But according to my openion, HeraaFeri should alos be placed in that top 5 list. It was also a great fun filled move with great dialogues delivered by two great actors Paresh Rawal and Om Puri. It is also one of the best.
There is absolutely no doubt about Andaaz apnaa - 2 being the one of the master piece of Indian film industry. We had an AAA fan club in our college and am sure all of those ppl would have felt great to see this artical...!!! This movie is just out of the world..!!! Few more Quotes..can be mentioned ...!! like.. "Nahee nahee tum lo tumhara B'day hai..!!!" "Kaisey naukar hai paheley to letey nahee they aub detey nahi hai.." "Teja mai hoon kyonkee mera naam he taja hai.." "Ye Dekh Ye dekh " "Achha wo ...haan wo to mai hoon ..." "EK to nauker ho ker sofey per chadtee ho ooper sey juban ladatee ho" "Sab baher jaata hai...sub baher jaata hai.." & last but not the least..would have been unnoticed by many ppl.. "PATLA DANNY.."

Both u guys are wrong!!
It's actually "Batlya Danny"...
Batlya in Mumbaiyya Tapori lingo means small... & Danny refers to the wellknown actor from the North -East...Danny Danzongpa( I hope I spelled it right) It was meant to be take on Danny ,since the waiter in the hotel was also from the North East.....
Andaz Apna Apna is the funniest movie of all time! I think only Hera Pheri has come close to being as funny. The acting in this movie is superb! I think one of my favorite scenes has to be when Amar/prem are walking behind Crime Master gogo with their hands in the air, and gogo is carrying a gun. Then gogo trips on the stairs and Prem says "Gogoji.. apka ghagra". Just thinking about that scene cracks me up! And Robert and Bila. There couldn't be two more comedic and stupid villians. Any scene with these two in it is hilarious. Some of my favorites is during the song between Prem and Karishma, where the two of them wake-up and start jiving to the music..when it's supposed to be robert's birthday and he says to Bila that sir, you didn't tell me today's my birthday..or the scene where their counting down til the bomb explodes. My other absolute favorite scenes are when Amar and Prem first figure out there are two Paresh Rawal's and Prem says it's like Seeta aur Geeta, and Amar says, "no you idiot, it's like Ram aur Shyam", and the other scene is when teja is telling his dream of opening a chicken farm, and sings his little song "Hamara Bajaj". The whole movie is hilarious!
MOST HILARIOUS MOVIE EVER MADE

I cant imagine how anyone cant like AAA. It has got comedy in each and every scene. And there are many subtle situations which cant be figured out in first viewing (Amir exchanges cigarette with his bidi). and surely it has got dialouges which enjoy cult status.
"kissi ko kuch dekhna dikhana hai kya" "baburam ..kaan sambhal ke kaata kar" "galti se mistake ho gya boss"
cant remember how many times I have seen this movie and can still watch many more times.
1. In the movie, Agreed Amar's Dad had a Barbershop, but Prem's Dad was a Tailor. The bangleshop was a fantasy dream sequence created by Amar to pursue his dad to willingly sell his shop! 2. The paplu taplu mentioned above were called Mr. Bhalla and Robert respectively! Paplu taplu were names called by TEJA for AMAR PREM respectively! 3. No mention of Great actors like Jagdeep, Mahmood or Deven Verma. Hey reviewer .. have a contest with me..looks like I will outcast u!! (Haha!!)
I so agree that AAA is the best comedy ever made in Hindi cinema. I wonder how people could not have liked such a movie. It is outrageously hilarious, with really stipid things, where one does not have to rack their brains and think. You just tend to go with the flow. Every character is a classic including Robert & Bhalla. And Paresh Rawal steals the show as Teja dreaming about a Poultry farm and Bakery. I can never get tired of that movie, and I have watched it so many times every dialogue is itched in the minds of my friends & me and we make sure every now and again we catch up and watch the movie and have a good laugh. I think movie makers should make such comedies instead of the cheap comedy and double meaning talks of Johnny Lever & Kader Khan. Who does not enjoy some good clean humour?
Yes no doubt about it AAA is one of the best comedy movies i have seen and feel proud that i have see this movie more than 60 times but i still feel it so fresh and comic. In fact there was a time when the dialogues of this movies was a part of my life(specially with friend and family) and the best dialogue which most of the people used to make fun of each other was that "aap mahaan hai ..dayawaan hai ..balki aap to purush hee nahin ...mahapurush hain ..",I wish Rajkumar Santoshi creates another hillarious comedy..because right now he is the only director who is technically correct and can create wonders with his taut script in any kind of movie. As far as Amir khan & Paresh rawal is concern they both are always fabulous with their characters and i think two of these great actor should team up for a good comedy.
hey!u forgot the famous dialogue which aamir keeps saying for the entire film
"aap mahaan hai,aap ye hain, aap woh hain, balki main kehta hoon--ki aap purush hi nahi hain!!!!!!!!!"
and after a pause where the other guy is stunned says "aap mahapurush hai!"
i must have seen it so many times tht i have lost count but each time laugh till my stomach aches!this is one movie i wouldnt mind watching at any time, any place!!!!!!!!!
I could not agree more on the fact that AAA is one of the very few movies which is hilarious and at the same time doesnt go over the top to show it. Its a benchmark for any director who wants to make Comedies..Last heard, I saw an article abt it being made into a animation movie in Hollywood If so I am really looking fwd to that movie
