After reading this article on AAA I feel the need to pen down my thoughts on the film.... I can safely tell you that I havnt met a soul who isn't a buff for this movie.. Ofcourse, that also stems from the fact that I don't seem to get along with anyone who isnt familiar with the typical Bambaiyya lingo and atleast 50 of the most memorable dialogues from AAA (A minimum criterion for the school of cool). Simply put.. it is an exhibition of clean, inspired, exhilirating 180 minutes of comic writing and genius, Indian Cinema has seen in a long long time, and likely never to witness again.
AAA came at a time when Bollywood had just lost the Big B who had (at the time) decided to hang up his boots and had left us hardcore movie buffs, an enormous truck load of "has-beens" and "never-were's." It came at a time when Aamir and Salman sans their beefed up torso's were head-on in competition for the Numero Uno position in Bollywood and when easily excitable and impressionable youngsters like myself were looking for a medium to channelize all our youth and energy.. and something we could all relate to.
It is also one of my favourites. Why I like it is because that it never pretends to be anything other than a laugh-a-minute riot and it keeps at it for the entire length of the film. I have seen the film many times and never get tired of it. The actors and actresses had done a great job and the direction too was superb.
great movie to start off this wonderful series. though the writer missed out a few all time great lines..

Hmm... if you are such a big fan of AAA then how could you do this!!! Aamir Khan's dad does not have a bangle shop, but has a hair cutting saloon... It is Aamir Khan's dream to open a bangle shop, where he would flirt with girls and his dad goes after their moms!!!
