Nobody is suggesting that southern industry is bad - the fact is it just caters to a very small percentage of people vs Hindi cinema which has a huge viewership. Hence govinda's departure to south is a demotion of sorts!.
When Female from all nook and corners of our country can play a role in Tamil movies, why not a male that too a well known from Mumbai. We should give a red carpet welcome to him. Always Heroeins have a small life span in the industry whereas heros live longer. Hence he should be given a chance not only as a guest role, a full movie should be signed for him. I wish him a greart sucess.
Hi guys There is nothing wrong if some one is to act in some other language that is not his forte. None is inferior or superior to the other. Any way Govinda is only doing a number in 'Three roses' for Ramba's sake. Govinda cannot stand in Tamil and at least that much I can be sure. Only actresses can survive and make a mark for themselves. By the way what is that? Govinda's Class??????? N.Balajhi
With the National(hindi) audience fed up with govindas antics, he is all set to enthrall Local regional audiences - poor man!, i hope he doen not end up like jeetendra
Govinda and class? You must be joking. Down South atleast the bloke can learn real comedy a bit. By the way, I know the title of Govinda's debut Tamil film: "Muchaan Number One" to be followed by "Mapillai Number One"
Govinda is going south because after years of doing his standard raja babu type comedy he has been sick of being stereotyped by the bollywood industry. Hindi movies are a generic bunch of dull melodramas as compared to most south indian films which have time and time again been copied into hindi movies. Its time govinda made a change and went into more serious roles. As fas as flopping bollywood stars going south is concerned : i think we have enough proof of flop-artists from the south making it big in the north !
