.........CORRUPTION....she chose to work to make up the shortfall instead of expecting me to get corrupt....I see no reason why a high-earning Chanda Kochhar would expect her husband to indulge in any dubious dealing...she has a case in point that she did not know if there was one !
.....the problem lies with her husband's dubious dealings...NOT HER'S. It is very likely that they never talked on their individual professional matters as she in any case is in a demandingly high-position which would hardly leave her with any energy or reason to talk shop athome. Time shall bring out the truth, however and the investigating agencies as well as the stakeholders are the right people to bring it out soon .

Why are we jumping the gun.Enough scams have happened in PSU banks with the help of bank employees and leaders. In te Private banking sector ICICI has the worst record, though all banks are working in the same reality. Why are we giving her a clean chit even before the inquiry is over. would we be so generous if she was not a senior person.

True. That's how one should view the matter ....your point on her seniority makes it critical.
Do this lady think that every one other than her are idiots ? If she thinks so, she is the idiot No.1 if she really dont know hwat her husband do misusinfg her power, position and perks for his business advantage. However I am sure that this lady is fully aware of this transactions and she has absolutely no moral right to stay as MD for a single day. Can anyone think if this happen to any of their other mangaers ICICI will spare them ?

it looks like so...two professionals need not talk to each other on ownindividual business matters being independent entities...in fact in any house, even wife doesn't know of husbands extra flirting and finance splurging affairs....similarly son may not confide in father about hi own independent thought and job matters....this case be dealt purely through investigation and not by casting un-necessary aspersions on character and integrity of a lady who has shown tremendous guts and acumen to rise so far......

Who will give Videocon extra loan against norms ? Who can ask Videocon to give loan to Mr Kochar ? Is it not possible that loan to Videocon was sanctioned and disbursed only on one condition that he has to pay the amount to Mr Kochar ? How can a husband will not inform his ei=wife if a customer of her bank has given his company ? No one will believe whatever she may say ro save her skin.

PERFECTLY. NOWADAYS THESE HIGH END PEOPLE THINKS ALL OTHER ARE IDIOTS AND WILL BELIEVE WHATEVER EXCUSES THEY WILL GIVE. SHAMELESS CREATURE.OVER SMART.BUT BAFFOON ????
Its hard to believe that Mrs. Kochhar had been selected for national award for brilliant performance as MD, of ICIC BANK. She finally turned out to be a most suspect for fetching financial help from one of her borrowers to the company of his husband. Very low level of mentality. The matter should be seriously probed.

No one can believe that such transactions involving her husband can be done without her knowldge. This is a clear case of misuse of power, influence for the advantage of her husband and has absolutely no moral right to stay in her position anymore.

Let any other person may be involved but the main person who has misused her power, position must accept her guilt.

How othe members of board like Vagul and KV Kamath do not advice her to resign form her post ? Is she indispensable for ICICI ? Why inspite of a clear case of misuse of power, she is still continuing as head of ICICI ?

Let her use her influence, connection at the top level. She is fully exposed now. Better she resign immediately.
Wonderful reply from a CEO of One of the largest pvt Bank. How one can accept a reply like this. Will she accept a reply like this if the same allegations are leveled on any of hes junior.

Only an idiot can give such reply. She consider herself to be the most intelligent person having reached at the top post at ICICI. Who will believe her ?
With Arun jaitley as FM,IT WILL ALLOW A LADY TO GIVE THOUSANDS OF CRORES TO A TOTALLY NONVIABLE PROJECT AND PLEADS IGNORANCE THAT HER HUSBAND WAS GETTING A QUID PRO QUO MONEY .They must investigate arun jaitley first.

It could be that Chidambaram supported her but the scam surfaced now and why dragging feet when it became clear that she financed a totally nonviable project ,that too, for Rs.3600 crores(I hope the numbers are correct)
