Clearance to Sterlite
by Sudershan Shukla on May 28, 2018 07:26 PM

The clearance to terlite was given by UPA both by Jayanti and Jayaram. In fact Jayram Ramesh had twice told in the Lok Sabha that as the plaint is in industrial region public clearance was not needed. Once the questioner was a Congress MP from TN.

NDA can it prove its innocence
by Dancarter on May 27, 2018 09:18 PM

Yes very clear NDA hand is involved the foul play. State govt and DSP has not given orders to shoot and they don't know. Anil Agrawal has bypassed the state govt and taken Modi govt help to play the foul game. No warning given to innocent, no water or rubber was used to dispel the crowd. Instead used specialist riffle to shoot on neck and head. Such incidences was created in gujarat now to de stablize TN, the same drama is being played. BJP count your days...your govt don't know the economics and don't have any clue how to develop India. The living cost has increased and no control on oil prices. No jobs created..using our tax payer money for election expenditure. Don't mess with Tamilan and the people of TN. The public are aware about your tactics and what you did in Gujarat.

Sterlite Copper
by Shankar Eppoor on May 27, 2018 08:26 PM  | Hide replies

Yes we can close Sterlite industries due to health problem, environmental issue etc. Then why cant we start closing the Tanneries in Vellore which uses highly toxic chemicals and many accidents resulted in loss of life? Why not there is a movement for Tannery closure? Any particular reasons for not raking up this issue?

The difference is AnilAgrawal pays to Modi foreign trips and Modi has supported his fasle doing. His asset vlue increased to 450 crores. But Tannery is small scale business not enough turnover to support the govt. Yes Tannery was closed down many time and they rectified the problems. Sterlite casing more environment damage.

Oh, Modi is not behind the nipah virus !

No keralite has been stupid enough to say that ! Perhaps you heard someone stupid in your neighbourhood say so.

But Modi is certainly behind North Indians overlooking or forgetting or being completely unaware of the fact that thousands of them die every single day due to diseases caused by complete lack of hygiene, viz, typhoid, cholera, dysentry, gastro enteritis.......!

Modi is part of the reason why North Indians, in general, remain far too stupid to understand what public healthcare is about and about the data on the above diseases in various states published regularly by the Indian Council of Medical Research and by the Union health ministry !

North Indians, in general are far too stupid to understand the stupidity behind grinning with their yellow teeth at the 12 deaths that happened in Kerala due to the contamination of a well with a bat while being completely unaware of the thousands of their state mates (mainly children) dying everyday due to cholera, typhoid, dysentry, etc !!

Hardly anyone has died in Kerala in the last few decades due to these diseases, you know !!

Copper smelter
by R Chakravarti on May 25, 2018 08:02 PM  | Hide replies

I remember seeing the area around a copper smelter in Tacoma, Washington State, U.S.A.. The trees in the area were all tiny, unlike elsewhere, and the local people had various health problems. Sterlite must be similar.
