Commie Babu, better think about the party and ideology youfollow. They are being rejected by the people of this country almost everywhere. Sardar Patel has rightly said about them in1948 that if you want to build a nation, they should not have any place there.
Don't expect to receive wages, if you don't/can't give as promised while joining. You will be jobless if you are not required by the employer. But then responsibility of the government/administration will be to train the workforce as per market demand. Ensure, nobody remains hungry, if jobless.
Biggest exploitation and loot of public money is done in govt. and public sector undertaking by these unions. An average salary including perqs. such as 27 earned leave, 15 full pay medical leave, 12 casual leaves plus saturday and sundary leaves besides 15 festival leaves plus unlimited medical and many allowances of different nature, a class IV employee cost to govt. more than Rs.60000 p.m. inclusive of his pension too. All burden is put on tax payers.
You go to BSNL office and you will see most of the staff there leisurely talking sitting in office or idling. It is surprising that these people complain about their jobs.

During winter one can notice the lady employees are sitting in the lawn and knitting sweaters.

what labour? labour first or people first. They are forgetting basic morality i.e. they forgot that they are serving the people. They always concentrating their perks not their duties. Even Govt. satisfies their perks and follows reservations but still they follow unethical things like bribe, dowry, lazyness etc.
An average 4th class government employee in central government departments has a salary of 23000 (excluding medicals).
Couple of pay commissions ago, the same position used to get a salary of about 6000 rupees per month.
State government salaties too went through the roof. Government of Telangana for example increased the salaries - in certain cases as much as doubled.
A school assistant ( B Ed teacher ) with 10 years experience gets anywhere between 60k to 80k. It is twice as much as a person even in private sector with the same years of experience gets ( say in manufacturing).
Union baazi needs to be wiped out ( like the US) and no job should be permanent. Unless a person performs his or her duties well, he or she should be fired and new people must be recruited.
According to one estimate, Indian Railways has 3 staff members where only one staff member is sufficient. This is like 200% excess work force in Railways.
We have enough of this substandard government work force eating the tax money for decades. This must stop.

A pay commission comes after ten years . A couple of commissions ago means twenty years. if Rs6000/- after 20 years is now Rs23,000/-. What is big deal? Why so much of heartburn by you the privileged rich fellows? You 1% now owns 72% of wealth. Still you hanker for more !!!

Do your math. Its 10 years ago. Not 20 ( and it shows the quality of people in there).
What is this 1% story ? Are you in India or generally ranting some nonsense ?
Why not earn it instead of looting from tax money and through union baazi ?
All labour laws were made on left leaning basis, all unions will certainly oppose it, organised sector even today besides very high unemployment rate taking govt. and employers at ransom frequently. They have spoiled the total growth of the country.
The so called government job security MUST be removed. Since government salaries have been at par with private jobs, there MUST NOT be any permanent job or job security for government jobs.
Guess only in India that we nurture this culture of incompetence, substandard human resources and bad productivity ( because of vote bank and unions).

Political parties created this culture for vote bank politics. Jobs based on religion, caste, region etc to get votes. This kind of policy for the past 5-6 decades screwed up everything. Even organizations have become greedy. Revenue of most of the IT companies have increased in the last 4 years but hiring has reduced. These companies want to earn more money with less resource.
