Instead of finding fault with GST, ways must be found for removing the worries of these MSME-s, as they are also important for employment generation and also for helping the local population and small time traders.

India has to live with GST and the associations concerned must try their best to find a "way-out".

Tirupati Textile V/s GST
by nagaraju on Jul 07, 2018 08:35 AM  | Hide replies

All these years these textile manufacturers and traders were killing state exchequer by not paying proper taxes and levies. Now, with GST they have no escape and feeling it hard to pay their dues and levies and cry foul.

Tiruppur _ GST

It seems rediff is choosing place after place, day after day to paint bad about GST. Yesterday it was Rajkot's diamond merchants and today it is Tirupur textile merchants.

A lobby working in this country does not tolerate good things happening to our country. Always spreading motivated and fabricated messages.

A very good and bold step for integration of the country, but govt. machinery is not ready even today to solve problems of small/medium traders/businessmen. Arrogance was common factor even at FM level.
Result of GST will be seen from 2020 onward, as people will become tuned to cashmemo system.

How GST 'killed' Tirupur, once a vibrant textile town
by (null) on Jul 04, 2018 10:21 AM  | Hide replies

GST has not killed the Tiruppur Industries. Tiruppur is a hub of Hosiery manufacturing. Ludhiana in Punjab too. Why GST has affected only Tiruppur and not Ludhiana. Ludhiana is still a flourishing city and the leader of Hosiery Export. This is a concocted story just to ridicule the GST. Analyze it from the business angle.

yes . you are right , it is not the change that matters attitude towards change that matters. problem of refund in GST is big issue but that not holding us back. it is said by automation efficient system will more efficient and inefficient will more inefficient. similar happening with GST.
