People are moving towards digital economy
by Anup Halarnkar on Apr 19, 2018 01:26 PM  | Hide replies

There should be some strict measures in place to allow digital functioning. Shopkeepers prefer cash so that they can hide their income... pretty straight forward. This culture was started by Congis and of course those who are aligned to congis want to bash current govt.. But, the current govt also needs to realize that they have to enable shopkeepers and retailers to push themselves to digitalization by providing some incentives.. yes govt has already done.. by handing out cash rewards.. but still being businessmen they are not satisfied and have become greedy and now after getting awards they still want more and are going back to cash transactions. If my shopkeeper insists on cash or takes undue time and makes me wait to do digital transactions while preferring other cash paying customers.. what do I do??
Either give them incentives or enable strict governance at micro level to ensure there is no harassment of those who prefer digitization.

we can not achieve the digital and cashless economy because our system totally function on cast not merit. where you will report of fraud. just I m giving you an example of third class India!, SBI bank website say to call toll free number for any inquiry and balance. when call is made the call center man will take full information but will not give the balance information? he says to register first at miss call number and then give miss call you will get the balance. When call center agent is not giving the balance information SBI should update their website and state clearly that the balance enquiry to be only done through miss call number. Branches are tired doing income tax work which is actually not the banking job and now adhaar that also not bankers job. When a bank account emptied by cyber crime bank will not at all help to give the desired documents which cyber police need. and how many city is the cyber police. Cyber police also absolutely no able to recover the money once the fraud taken place. and top of it comes reservation and reservation in promotion no function. India is useless country

The best way to force people to go in for digital payments ....
by Nalin Kishore on Apr 19, 2018 01:08 PM

is to withdraw all 2000 and 500 notes from circulation completely by the end of 2018. Increase notes of 100, 200, 50, 20, 10 5 etc. The reason is that one cannot carry too many notes in wallet. If one can carry say, 40 notes in wallet, he can carry 80,000 in Rs 2000 notes but only 8000 in Rs 200 notes.
*
All salary payments for daily wagers also to be done by paytm, bhim etc at least upto half.

Other PM are not fond of travelling abroad with citizen's money especially at the time when there is cash crunch :-) How much money is depositing every day in the US using credit card the Indian Agricultural dependent Farmers don't Know .Modi government's push towards the digital economy has not been successful because of service charges and the inability of a large number of people to understand even basic English. 90% of farmers are dependent on food, vegetables, diary, goats and fish.Demonetisation will bring these farmers and fishermen into the banking system...
When there are no schools and hospitals in villages, how do you expect banks to reach such places?
How will banks reach the deserts of Rajasthan or the tribal areas of Chhattisgarh, Telangana, Madhya Pradesh, Jharkhand and the North-East? He is telling Criticize but don't do allegation ! What a Joke ?
