Whats Shekhar's real concern
by sujit chitale on Jun 26, 2018 10:23 PM

Shekhar's understanding that corporate sector is afraid of Modi govt is the latest of purported horror stories being circulated... very similar to anti minority horror stories he used to peddle some time back...
From the article he does not seem to be interested in bringing to book wrong doers but makes the corporate sector appear as a scapegoat for 2019 election...

Grow up...

Modi began discarding

his *mekk inn Innddiaa* pretensions in a big way when he lobbied with Dassault, agreed for a nearly 3 fold increase in the price of the Rafale fighter, surrendered the TOT clause, surrendered the manufacture of the Rafale in India clause.....and removed the public sector HAL and brought in the novice Reliance Defence Limited in its place !!

And the RSS, which pretends to champion the cause of indigenous manufacturers but is nothing in essence but a diversionary tool of crony capitalists, remained silent while Modi went back and forth between India and France arranging this loot of Indian tax payers money !

There is a saying?

There is a saying?
"There should be method even in madness". Unmethodical madness cannot be cured. NEET Exams are a typical example. TN students are allotted centers in Sikkim & Rajasthan, while the exams itself is not needed.

MODI CONTINUES WITH UPA LEGACY OF CRONY CAPITALISM
by damodaran mohan on May 01, 2018 05:32 PM

The UPA legacy of Bank NPAs and crony capitalism was well known to the Modi govt. when it came to power. The biggest disappointment for people is the NDA govt. more so Narendra Modi as PM failed to rise to the occasion to tackle the problem in right earnest from day one in 2014 when he took over.Instead they adopted couple of them ,the likes of Mallya,Nirav Modi,Choksi...etc.allowing them to flee and waited for 4 yrs to start cleaning up NPAs after writing off big chunk of Corporate's NPAs conveniently. So what is the use if Modi can't transform the political system in the country of crony capitalism . At best it is some change in degree not kind. That is too little too late.

Accountability
by arungopal agarwal on Apr 12, 2018 10:33 AM  | Hide replies

Is anyone accountable among the 4 pillars of democracy: 1. Permanent govt.- govt. servants who carry govt. on files- at grass root level- no fear of loosing job, rather no one can even ask SC,ST, women to work- since they are specially protected, the fellow who will ask will go to jail without bail.
2. Politicians- no one is accountable for any issue.
3. Judicial system- No one has faith, barring few Netas so long they are not punished- take around 10-20 years to settle the case.
4. Public- Since all 3 above do not accept any discipline-they are also free,
Modi tried to only correct Sl. 4, as they are not organised, for others-he could not dare to make any dent.
As such, bear the governance, till the above is reformed. We need national policy on many issues.

You should add 5th as Media. They can write anything on anybody and are not accountable. The live example is this article

What a bull-shit
by P Dutta on Apr 12, 2018 09:36 AM  | Hide replies

This man the so called author is a well known ND-TVIAN who have been Modi- and Hindu-baiters for decades. The very fact that he had to introduce himself as 'My best friends are Muslim' shows that like Pappu and his followers, these so called media persons are coming out of their hibernation and trying to vainly and vaguely criticise Modi's policies and programmes. One should only pity such characters who are now day-dreaming that their wonderful days during congress regime are likely to be back pretty soon. In his passing reference to Mallya, Neerav-Chowksi, he did not deem it fit to mention Congress' roles played in these episodes during his golden days. He never wrote about these episodes during the golden era for ND-TVIANS.
