Never cared to read this article, once you saw the author is SG, the inventor of army coup from the thin air! Strangely Rediff seem to like him and picks his article quite often.

The fear has receded because there is already visible a far greater resistance and complete loss of faith. Dalit uprising is only a surface manifestation. The govt. has yielded so much and so inexorably to the communal persuasions that here is really no hope of winning the sympathy of the people back now, unless and until the govt. take drastic and sweeping measures to undo all that has hurt the nation. Secularism is inescapable truth which cannot be ignored or suppressed.

If you are corrupt you better fear Modi- Shekhar and his Lutyen cronies have found out to their chagrin that the hallow around their head is fast disappearing - that is why he is batting for all corrupt businessmen, journalists and politicians
Given another term to Modi and such crony capitalists and journalists will be out of job- this is why they are now trying to create an anti modi story with all their might across the board!

Not to forget killing(?) of Justice Loya, Jayesh Shah`s miracle,the other two Modis heists, PNB, ICICI etc. etc. The sloganeering about Modi being some super human clean faultless deity and projecting him sky high is really laughable. ;Yes, there are always some bhakts who are incorrigible.

It has become like court of law. It is difficult to prove any thing.
Any issue can be twisted, added masala to and presented in a way that suits the whims of the author. Throw in a dash of suspicion , mistrust and conspiracy theory , you have what is called POLITICAL commentary.
