Being a senior journalist, it's sure, you couldn't have written negatively about homeopathy, without a prick of conscience, while intentionally trying to tarnish its image in India. Multi generational use of homeopathy in India has made it almost a native medicine of our country - depended upon my scores of families. "It is dangerous in our country to make fun of it. I bet some abuse and outrage are on my way already for coming this far." - Deliberately you have taken a dangerous move, without studying the motives of the so called scientific folk classifying homeopathy as pseudoscience. Let your conscience speak to you and help you to adopt a right attitude towards Homeopathy- a noble system of scientific medicine.

Homoeopathy is a scientific system of medicine which has been beneficial to mankind. Derogatory remarks and irrelevant comparisons like these are a sign of sciolism

It is not good to underestimate the benefits of Homeopathy. It is also true that in Germany,it is non existent but in France it is widely being practiced.
The Writer seems to conveniently forget that Lakhs of Commuters, including me who Travel by Mumbai Local Trains, would Give an Arm & Leg to Travel Safely,Comfortably & Conveniently to Work and back. Rather than spending an Obscene amount of money on a Train & Building statues in the Sea, why not improve the Lot of us Tax payers from the Great Indian Middle Class and Improve our lives

Well said....You are right....The Govt. wants to be in Limelight....The Govt. has fooled the Public....Does not want to work at grassroot level....Half the population is illiterate and lives in a very poor condition...The Country lacks basic Infrastructure, Health and Education Facilities...Thanks to our Political system...and Politicians.... ...Everywhere you hear in news Rape, Murders, Dacoity, Loot, Snatching, Corruption, Eveteasing, Sexual Molestation, Students and Farmers Suicides, Train and Roads Accidents, Female Infanticide, Dowry Deaths, Wine Deaths etc. The list is very long...
1.We must see the benefits . It is totally over head and will occupy less land and hence less trouble and faster speed etc.We can make it between all major cities and high speed corridor. 2, Gst is centralised system and better . 3.Metro trains(under ground) are much needed where road and over head bridge capacities are exhausted. Like wise we have to study the basic problem and apply system analysis and planning and preventive action etc. and not particular medicine.
I would certainly love this country to have a bullet train, though i cannot comment on the viability of a project. i am just worried about the drop in quality and service standard of our existing premier trains,ie, Rajdhani and Shatabdis. The food quality has dropped vary badly and so also is the service in the coaches. Let's try to improve conditions in these as well before bite another bullet.
