Do we have an economic policy?
by Musalmaan Masala on Oct 03, 2017 12:24 PM

Does India or does this Modi Government really have an economic policy or does it tailor India's economic needs according to the needs of votes gathering required in poll going states?

India has been fed enough chunna for the past three years and now the chickens have come to roost and as they say in colloqial Bambiya Hindi Banda phoot gaya.

CPEC will be game changer
by Sameer Shaikh on Oct 03, 2017 11:55 AM

Pakistan policy makes are saying CPEC will be game changer in the Central Asia region. With my very limited knowledge I am trying to understand how will India counter China in the region. When the CPEC is completed, any strategic advantage India can have in the future will be gone. And with chinas influence it will become pushy. Even on cultural and social front, it will be less of colony of china and its influence.

To give jobs to masses, manufacturing was the only way to create value chain which could have given jobs to more people. China economic belt will take strategic advantage of india to set up their factories, doing investment to utilize low labor cost and harness skill. Through silk route there will be low transportation cost, better connectivity, efficient coordination to the connecting point to host and consumer country.

If I am not wrong, it will be sort of NAFTA agreement between usa and Canada, where subsidies in Canada made it backyard of USA where many manufacturing companies from usa invested in Canada to take advantage of the local benefits with free and open border.

Here CPEC or silk route will connect so many countries in asia, Africa and Europe. It will eat up the world market and make world slave of china including india which will become Chinese colony.

It will be practically negative, whatever growth is seen is due to conversion of black to white.
Economy will take 2-3 years time to come to line, as Note bandi is accepted by people, but GST-high confusions due to arrogance and typical legal brain of FM, correction is needed in it to pick up the economy.

Real issue is not growth, but to make India a Hindu Rashtra, is not it?

Real issue is not growth, but to make India Hindu Rashtra, is not it? Divert peoples' attention to Ram Mandir, Go-Raksha, etc.
