Raghavendra Bhat
from Dilli to Mumbai via Daulatabad :: depose Modi bin Tughlaq
by Raghavendra Bhat on Nov 15, 2017 09:44 AM  | Hide replies

PM Narendra Modi too may have to be deposed like as what happened to Mohammed-bin-Tughlaq. PM Modi and his Bajpa Sarkar has to be voted out for the atrocious way in which the CGST regime was imposed. Common citizens have been burdened by nedless scrutiny on one side by the IT sleuths and on the other by excess taxes. It is like robbing Peter to pay off Paul!

dear Bhat sir,
you may kindly consider that our country India is the seventh largest ountry in the world with second highesct population.
Even in european countries, which are smaller than most of our states, peoplefaced difficulties and voted out the govt which implemented VAT(GST in indian context)
In changing old system, teething problems are bound to be there. We have to be patient
Thanks

Kirana Stores at loss
by anil kumar joshi on Nov 15, 2017 09:41 AM  | Hide replies

Yes,they are right but its their fault. They want to make money on MRP without offering a paisa discount where as most of the bis stores or professional kirana store offer discount on every product, why public should buy from these small shops, secondly these small kirana stores were selling without bill and now with GST,their income will be known to government. The writer should have knowledge at ground level and simply publishing a article for the sake of writing should not be allowed. He(the writer ) should understand that these kirana shops make lots of money but will always blame government.

Depose Modi bin Tughlaq! Borrowing from Peter to pay off Paul is not a good sign.

You should understand other side of life. Many of such small shops are put up just because they do not have enough money to go big and give huge discounts. They may be mostly buying items from nearest large shops/wholesale shops and their income is only the difference between what they paid to seller and MRP. They hardly earn anything for their daily needs. In case of emergencies like hospital needs, etc., they would be left with nothing. Yet, instead of resorting to any anti-social activity, they are at least working hard to earn their livelihood, which should be appreciated.

Yes, big shops offering discounts on MRP - as they sell on large quantities. For the people living in suburbs and in rural where can they go. For getting discounts whether it is practically possible to go to a Mall by bus/auto/car or two wheeler by spending some money on that. Whether all have time to go such a far off place where big malls are situated.
