40 years of failure to do the work is acknowledged
by R ponnabalam on Jul 07, 2017 10:42 AM

"The practices of the airline have not been updated since the 1970s. If we think the airline can be successfully run even by a private entity when it is burdened by this legacy, we are living in a fool's paradise," The common man doesn't and cannot think so/Only people who had been running the airlines including the Ministry . parliamentary committee etc might be free to think so.Fine
Then why did all those who were meant to update these practices were paid their salaries and pay.?Why nobody ever opened their mouth for a SMALL TIME SPAN of 40YEARS.One parliamentary summoned the Governor of RBI in the aftermath of DEMO.What has such committees have done in the past in this regard. Four decades of failure to do the requisite jobs but all have been paid.India pay like this to every body in every sector. Then YOU NEED NEED NOT BE CLOSED by OTHERS;YOU WOUKLD HA VE CLOSED YOURself

by R ponnabalam on Jul 07, 2017 10:33 AM

"You cannot compare Air India with the young airlines. They do not have the baggage that legacy carriers do," says the former senior official. What legacy?legacy of incompetence and inability to manage with all the educated, highly qualified and highly paid.In stead it must be called SHAME.State Govts. are running State Transport service better than Air Line management . It is NATIONAL LOOT.R.Ponnambalam

When Air India can be privatized is it foretelling that that Earth India can also be privatized. We had privatized Industries and are enjoying things like undiscovered loans(called in bank's dictionary as NON Performing ASSET(what is an asset if it cannot perform; ask some one of the calibre of Prez.Bill Clinton to tell ,It is Non performngg but asset -------!)& statements like banks are not taking actions to recover loans ,so the Govt. enabling the supervisory body RBI ---". If you can not run or manage Air India ,. Govt .' how can you revive manufacturing sector ."Look my Lord ,here it comes''.Who is coming forward to take it over?Govt. do you feel that you do not have the confidence and skill as much as the one coming forward,R.PONNAMBALAM

status of all govt departments
by nagabhushan narappa on Jul 07, 2017 09:51 AM  | Hide replies

This is one typical example of govt departments there are other departments worst than this. High salaries and poor performance is their character. over and above govt gave them 30% hike in salary and other perks. Dear modi sir please stop wasting our hard earned money which was grabbed from us in the form of taxes. Does any one listen they are all deaf.

Government departments have a system of social cobweb knitted by many employee if not everyone, by an attitude of nuisance value of an individual employee than their service to the nation.
One can say that one rotten onion in the heap is sufficient to spoil the godon, imagine where more than 75% rotten can do?......

well said. We are the victims no ray of hope. See how the bank employees failed the purpose of demonetization. Before implementing pay commission salary revisions I wished Modi could have been thrown out this 75% rotten lot.

Air India is in bad days bcoz employees were recruited bases on favors nepotism and pilferages and quality eaters egoist babu and politicians, Who treated it as their fathers property. I wonder after sell off NAMO will visit with cramped like jet or similar plane as Sevak pretended by him. Last but least is incompetent management for which generally poor reserved /OBC categories of people are blamed as excuse.

And They Tried Making Gaikwad A Scapegoat For Their Inefficiency
by Rishi Mehta on Jul 06, 2017 11:49 PM

......Air-India's winding-up was long due ....no more debating , please, this bunch of crooked and inefficient staff and management got too conditioned to 'easy life of easy money' at the tax-payer's expense .....while the ordinary passengers remained at the receiving end of the airline's incompetency at every step.....it took a bold young VIP in Gaikwad to break the silence while the crooked congress MPs never had reason to do so....they were treated like royals all those years of congress misrule and no airline staff could even murmur against those corrupt-congress VIPs who corrupted everyone in the govt. !

Implement No Work No pay
by R ponnabalam on Jul 06, 2017 08:58 PM

What has been the management doing? What has been the controlling ministry doing? Why not haul them up for failure to do their duty Remember the days of Air marshal Lal at the helm of affairs in Indian Airlines!I remember having read something like this "IA has met with it's Tartar. Management musttell the wrongdoer that he is wrong.Every shift in Charge in any shop knows that he is "lost if he doesn't get the guts to implement NO WORK NOPAY"Blame the Govt. Blame the ministry. Recover the salary paid to them all ,Blame the archer not the ArrowR.Ponnambalam
