Jobless and restless
by Bharat Kumar on Jan 09, 2017 03:42 PM

Those who have been asked to learn local languages are left in the lurch. They won't get an employment except as labor in other states!

It works both ways - if you eat too much, nothing gets into the head. If you don't get anything to eat, you would get restless and not listen to anything !

The fact of the matter is, our lopsided growth story have left behind many desperate and without hope. The demographic disaster that has been looming is now here in advance, a jobless tsunami coming with the earthquake called demonetization

Same here.

When will rediff start presenting an unbiased view ?? All the authors it can summon and the articles that this bunch of nincompoops can muster is always anti government and shows the present dispensation in bad taste.

What was the all knowing Firdaus doing when the Congress and its cronies were busy looting the nation by multiple scams ?? Taking money from them and keeping silent ?? Yeah??

Whats with the attitude of the Article Writer
by Suresh on Jan 09, 2017 01:49 PM

Syed Firdaus Ashraf, i am saying this not because you are muslim, but because i am offended by the way you are instigating unrest. You keep putting in bad ideas into the minds of unstable people when you say things like...
1. Many Indians from other states come to Gujarat for employment.
2. Do you plan to join hands with other agitationists like Hardik Patel, Jignesh Mewani to take on the BJP in Gujarat?
3. Will you follow similar tactics like Raj Thackeray whose Maharashtra Navnirman Sena beat up North Indians because they were taking jobs away from locals?
4. But outsiders are getting jobs in Gujarat.
5. Are you saying jobs in Gujarat should only be for Gujaratis?
6. If the situation is so bad, why are people not protesting on a large scale?

People from other state migrate to another state for many reasons. If people from Bangalore are getting IT jobs in Chennai and People in Chennai are getting IT job in Bangalore, people who look from outside will get puzzled. Why cant that Chennai guy be employed in Chennai?! But the dynamics are different, some like the climate in Bangalore, some like the culture in Chennai, Some failed to locate the job in Chennai, Some had to go to BLR because their team moved t oBLR and such. Like wise, if a Company in Jamnagar is looking for a Machinist and the nearest machinist is in Ahmedabad, but failed to see the opening that was published in a national Daily, who's fault is it.

I agree to one thing validate the politicians claims.

As per the statistics of

Kerala state ministry of labour, approx. 1.5 lakh out of the 28 lakh migrant workers in Kerala (workers from other Indian states) are Gujaratis.

They, like the workers from other states, are drawn to Kerala due to the highest minimum wages paid in Kerala.

Back home in Gujarat, they would get just about Rs 80 to Rs. 125/- per day of manual labour while they get at least Rs. 400 (Rs. 600 in many cases) !

Construction site worker ?

Mason ?

Carpenter ?

And which site in Gujarat ?

I was talking about the minimum wages paid to the lowest segment - unskilled labour !

In Kerala, the unskilled farm hand or the unskilled worker in any construction site or any shop assistant or any other work site in remote rural areas gets not less than Rs 400 per day for 7 hours of work !

How much does the unskilled farmhand (who has no training in any trade) in rural Gujarat (Banaskantha, Dangs, etc) get for a days work ??

Rs 500 ???

Really ??

Another question.

What is the minimum wage for unskilled workers mandated by the Gujarat govt ??

Any idea ??

Just check that out and come back. We can have a very lively debate if you want !

Komaaaaaaaali Piri, the useless, jobless, depressed, frustrated, confused, jealous, Baffoon, first tell how much job opportunities are there in Kerala for local people and why they are migrating to all other states and gulf in search for a living leaving their families behind ? How many industries are in Kerala ? Stop inquiring and worrying for people and labourers in Gujarat. Whatever they get, they are happy and have no complaints. Have you ever visited Gujarat or just going through the articles written by your commie friends or at the public library in Kerala as you can afford to read there only. Better stop your never ending kraaaaa.......kraaaa... Kraaaaa...........kraaaaaaaaa.

In Vibrant Gujarat how many young generation got jobs so far.
by Ramanarao Kallepally on Jan 09, 2017 12:19 PM

Indeed it is a good idea that Gujarat state is developing in all aspects and would be declared as SMART CITY first in nature after BJP came in power. But it is wonder so far how many young youths have been provided jobs, so that future investments would assure job opportunities in GUJARAT VIBRANT CITY GANDHI NAGAR. Huge amount of money for advertisements, cut outs etc. etc. could be checked on such occasions so that some amounts can be given to farmers to boost yield good results in agricultural sector.
