Corruption and economic standard of the country is interlinked. you can not find rich country and its citizen are corrupt. Similarly,you can not find a poor country and its citizens are honest. it is a joke that demonetization has curbed corruption. you look around your surrounding and can find out what is true and what is not.
We will be corrupt free only when Civic authorities like municipalities,corporations and other public bodies successfully sensitize their employees to give their best to the society without gratification.
it is all sloganeering just like Swatch Bharat. the whole world has seen the premises of Govt run Gorakhpur hospital to know about fake Swatch Bharat. Similarly demonetization was to victimize the informal economy to bring hard working unorganzied sector into tax net, people who stand on their own feet and feed themselves. Zero attempt is made to bring chief perpetrators of corruption ie politicians themselves and their minions in bureaucracy to book. the kingpins of corruption are government itself any fool will tell you that
It is not impossible to route out corruption but for India, it is impossible to implement the rules in Govt. If there is any complaint against any Govt employee, for delaying any persons's job or official job, he must be suspended with immediate effect. Must apply even to Ministers, MPs & MLAs. MLAs & MPs should not be permitted to give any lectures at any Public meeting (Public meetings by MLAs/MPs should be banned) After suspending, if the employee is found guilty & having money more than his earnings, his money (including that of his Wife & Children) must be taken into Govt treasury. They must be made to start their service at lower levels (Clerks will start as Peons, Officers as Clerms & IAS Level will start at lowest Officer level) All previous service benefits forfeited. Any allegation of any nature against any MLAs & MPs OR Minister, they must be suspended immediately, till inquiry is completed & the enquiry officer must be the complainant. They should not be permitted to contest future elections, including their family members. Can Govt introduce & implement these rules? NEVER because they are the first, best & most corrupt people. If anyone wants to disagree, better introduce the rules & implement. The word corruption will not be seen in Indian Offices or even dictionaries.
