Agarwalla on corruption
by Sudarshan Nityananda on Aug 21, 2017 10:14 AM

Mr Agarwala, if you lived outside India for 50 years , you are equally unqualified to talk about the state of the nation. If our PM is so incorruptible, please explain with all your World Bank experience the following case:

The largest business house of Gujarat was INDICTED by the DRI of money laundering Rs 5000 cr via over invoiced imports. Why has the CBI under this Govt not taken a single step towards expediting the trial of the executives of this house, even 4 years after the indictment ? Is this because the business house happens to be a top financier of the ruling party ?Let's pat the PM for much needed reforms but let's not live in a fool's paradise imagining that some pure white angel has come down to deliver salvation.

built up cloak of being an anti corruption crusader, what is Narendra Modi ?

He is a man who

1. Sat on the Lok Pal bill (passed by Parliament in 2013) and prevented it from being institutionalized

2. Whose regime saw the murders of 64 persons who became whistleblowers on big corruption with none of the accused being prosecuted under the Whistleblowers Protection Act passed by Parliament in 2011

3. Whose regime saw the systematic dilution of the provisions of the RTI act with tactics such as refusal to reply to an ever larger number of queries and huge understaffing of the RTI department of the Central govt

4. Spent a world record amount of Rs. 12000 crores in campaign expenses for a political party (BJP) in a single election (2014 LS election)

5. Whose regime transferred the 3 ED officers who dared to file an FIR and a case against Gautam Adani for laundering Rs. 5468 crores by round-tripping his corporate profits from Mauritius using the P note FDI investment route. The officers had still more than a year each left in their tenure in the ED office in Ahmedabad and no cabinet note accompanied their pre-term transfer (as mandated by the CAT)

6. Who resolutely opposed the appointment of a Lok Ayukta in Gujarat for 12 years during his tenure as CM

7. Who gave away hundreds of hectares of revenue land to Gautam Adani in Mundra at a price of Rs. 16/- per sq metre when the neighbouring plots of land were given to war widows at the subsidized price of Rs. 260/- per sq metre

komaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaali, who is Narenadra modi ? What is Narendra Modi? He is the Prime minister to whom the people of this country has given an absolute mandate. Will you give name of the 64 whistle blowers who died during his rule ? What is dilution made by this government in the RTI Act ? Have you got any evidence to substantiate your baldm, vague and wild allegations against Gautam Adani ? If you have, better give it to your commie masters who has enough money to take legal actions under appropriate laws against the concerned people. Mere writing long and useless comments full of your nonsense all the time will not help.

8. Whose regime saw the emaciation and laying to waste of the previously profitable GSPC (Gujarat State Petroleum Corporation) with its debt mounting to Rs. 19000 crores (more than double the amount stolen by Vijay Mallya, the fugitive). The GSPC became a sacrificial public resource in the hands of the BJP govt of Gujarat in order to fatten up the rapacious Mukesh Ambani led Reliance group.

9. Whose regime saw the ascent of Gujarat from rank 10th in 2001 to rank 2nd in 2014 in terms of pollution ! Thousands of industrial units were given consent by the Gujarat pollution control board under the air and water acts without even the basic wherewithal to prevent soil, water and air pollution, so much so that the CAG was forced to observe in their 2011 report that even the sea around Mundra and Jamnagar had become black !

10. Under whose watch the BJP continues to break record after record in election campaign and media expenditure for assembly as well as even local body elections.

Make anti-corruption profitable business model
by krishna Ram on Aug 17, 2017 08:52 PM

According to some estimates corruption is Rs. 14 lakh crore business oppurtunity.

If anti-corruption becomes profitable business.
Companies may invest in anti-corruption business.

Revenue Recovery --> Incentivise who reported/proved --> anti-corruption becomes profitable business model --> cost of doing corruption goes up

Need inputs on what policies/laws need to be changed to make this happen?

Are there any countries that went route? Any success stories?

Great News For Indians......An Incorruptible PM......
by rishi on Aug 17, 2017 01:57 AM  | Hide replies

......compare this with the chiddus, sibals, iyers, gulamnabis, and the entire greed and corruption-driven gang of congressis that succumbed to the lure of wealth and 'ill-gotten'fame that made them stoop to the gutter-levels of psychophancy and "jee-hujoori" to an italian housewife....what shame. On teh other hand,Team -Modi and the stalwarts of RSS-BJP Combine stand so tall for their uprightness in public life ...the reason why millions of young women and men in search of clean and honest livelihoods are continually voting for BJP-led-NDA Govt. and its allies in every state election after giving them the resounding mandate in 2014.

What we need for corruption-free India...
by MS Vasan on Aug 16, 2017 03:12 PM

1.Digital India-Everything to do with Govt done online and no need to meet any corrupt human officer..

2.Automatic approval-Anything citizen applies gets approved automatically within a specific no of days..refusal must be explained with sepcific reason by concerned official.

3.Catch Govt officials for any bribe from Rupee 100- onwards and lock them up.

Modi is capable of doing this and he is already doing some of them...
