My one question to Govt is...
by Janas on Nov 28, 2016 04:54 PM

Will the IT authorities maintain integrity if black money hoarders r caught? What if, they accept bribe and let go the hoarders? What ACTION WILL BE TAKEN AGAINST THE HOARDER AND AUTHORITIES? Govt. must clarify these points. Only then, there will be complete trust for this Govt.

No windfall for the government
by Vijay Sahani on Nov 28, 2016 04:52 PM  | Hide replies

With the new scheme announced by the government there will be no windfall to the government.

Assuming 50% of the black money hoarders have already laundered their money, or will do it before 31.12.2016, and the balance will pay 50% (or 60%) tax there is no question of the government appropriating black money and RBI writing off it's liabilities (which itself was a controversial issue).

Government will collect some additional tax, reduce fiscal deficit and spend the money (85% of which will go waste due to corruption).

Demonetization was a scheme to reduce corruption or to increase corruption?

Remember more the rules, more the likelihood of corruption.

And with so many deposits made, it is virtually impossible to monitor all accounts and then match it to their incomes.

This is just a scare tactic, but BM hoarders & agents have already outwitted the system.

This means more harassment to those random few (honest & dishonest) whom the IT officers will come calling.

Nothing in this world is perfect. But one money is deposited in bank even in multiple names with different pan number even then the will come under income tax department. If the same amount is not generates in subsiquent year then the things become benami. An earning person nornally will earn higher in subsiquent years. If he is not then this bank account is under suspect.

Why am I pused into such unsafe dark virtuality ?

Why am I pused into such unsafe dark virtuality ?
As a citizen of a free democratic nation as they say ,
why I am forced to have a Bank Account ?
Why after having some GOLGAPPA ,I need to beg an elctronic bag-wallah to pay my money to the poor vendor without any fault or error and that to immediately or need to wait as long as it doesnt take place ....or some duplicate web-cheater is not cheating both of us by a fake web-site of fake app of same nature? why always I need a gadget to carry with me for all or any thing I do ?

why creating a virtual-layer on top of banks, same as again doing a virtual denationalization of the banking system as such ?

Two gainers
by on Nov 28, 2016 04:49 PM

If there are 2 most gainers from this system, it is the Chinese backed PayTM and the CAs/Accountants.

Of course then there are the agents (in connivance with CAs, bank officials) who are making merry.

Also IT officers in future will have gala time harassing citizens of their own hard earned money.

Rest all can suffer this minor inconvenience - remember the soldiers at the border.

Suffer in National Interest
by on Nov 28, 2016 04:39 PM  | Hide replies

I request honest patriots to please suffer all these rules in the name of national interest.

Even if you are an honest payee who made some valid deposits, the taxman may come knocking at your door. Since he will be looking for some under the table "you know", he may harass you with some incomprehensible rules. Then out of frustration you may have to grease the palms.

Hail the new Tax Terroorrism regime!
