Photo shows modern Rs.2000 note of 2016...How can that take his daughter to pre-1991 unless he is teaching her some medieval practices..
I can understand what you mean the queue was very much part of our lives, for the middle class and lower middle class pre 90s, and todays child won't undestand it we have started spending so lavishly, for the things which we yearned during our childhood even a fragmented rubber eraser for the school was a luxury, but for todays kid it just get cash from parents and buy it whatever they wish, current situation has made every house hold to understand how to spent wisely and be disciplined..i guess we should actually understand Mr. PM has made a calculated move but there should have been a plan for people below poverty line, who are now the biggest sufferers.
If you are not going to spend a single paisa other than for the dhobi, why did you withdraw 10k? You might as well have withdrawn 4000 and left the balance 6000 for someone who really needed it? Very selfish of you. Completely opposite to this, I make it a point to spend at least 100-150 rupees per day at various vendors, sabziwala, fruit vendors, chanawala, etc. Even if I don't want them. I was fortunate to get 4k in 100 rupee notes when I withdrew with balance in 2k notes. I have been actively spending ever since around 200 rupees per day so that I can put the money in circulation.
Oh FRRRRRRRaud-os, you have deliberately forgotten so many things indeed. Note: This portal blocks the phonetically similar and most appropriate adjective, that I and most commentators have been using, wrt the writer of the above article.

the poor are hurt most and they have no chance of survival in post demonetization drive. I saw all beggars are lined up and their number is only increasing. Villagers are sitting idle either for want of money or no work in agro fields. The railway stations are empty.. and security guards are sleeping in atm's . GOod lessons for INdians from a chaiwala... I hope BJP cabinet should only contain chaiwalas .. to make more much soothing impact on indian economy.
