OLD PEOPLE DYING IN FRONT OF ATMS WAITING IN QUEUES, AND THE SEHENSHAH IS RAISING A TOAST IN JAPAN. WHAT RIGHT DO THEY HAVE TO DISRUPT THE LIFE OF THE COMMON MAN? ONE HAS TO PAY FOR GROCERIES, THE MAID, THE DHOBI, ETC IN SMALL CHANGE. IT IS HIGH TIME THE PEOPLE OF INDIA DO A SURGICAL STRIKE ON THIS CORRUPT BJP GOVT. AND STOP THE RISE OF AN INDIAN HITLER

MY dear in India out side the temples like in Bombay Siddhivinayak / Shirdi or Balaji ques of children, old people are kilometers long from early morning to late night. People die in holy places due to stamped or fire accident. People die in Haj pilgrimage that time no one complains or stop going. But when in the interest of nation most complains ridiculous.

Very true. This logic should be in the media as well. People dye in religious matters. Then why not for a temporary pain. Today for me it took around 1 hr. to deposit and withdraw. Even in the line non complained and accepted the pain with a pride that, they are helping for national cause.
Syed Firdaus your name says it all....you are short sighted & agenda driven It takes guts & nerves of steel for a PM to take this decision, because there are always VULTURES like you who look at everything in the prism of elections…. We don’t mind going through any hard ship in the larger cause of a stronger nation…. If you ever loved India you would have understood…… but sorry to say your articles shows you never belonged……..

Satish only a maniac like you can look at every action through the prism of nationalism. You may be willing to go through hardship but a nation of 1.25 billion cannot go through it. Only an insane man can think that this is going to wipe out black money. In 6 months the problem is going to worsen thanks to Rs 2000 notes which makes it much easier to store.

No matter whatever PM Modi does, he will never be accepted by the likes of Inzy and Syed bhais, so it better to ignore them. India shall still develop inspite of them.

Its needless & misguiding article. Electronic media must do something constructive and co-operate for a good cause. It was same electronic media which was harping on Modiji that he is doing nothing on corruption and black money. As far as inconvenience is concerned, it is bound to happen, after Modiji is trying to clear the accumulated dirt in the system.

Why r u going 2 bank. ATMs r there. Jiska system ke bahar paisa hai, us ke liye trouble. But its for few days. Banks shud cooperate, instead of sabotaging the event. Like it did in the Army suicide episode.
