These bank staff never care for their customers on whose money they earn their bread instead harass them at every given opportunity citing govt & RBI circulars. They only want their govt. employee status intact so as to extract maximum benefits without any accountability. Time is ripe for the government to push for their change in attitude towards & customer and be accountable to them. Every striking day must be treated as a no pay day or LWP and should be marked in their service book to start with. The mother state for strikes in India West Bengal has shown the way how to stop this menance with similar measures. West Bengal did not have a general strike may be since last 3 years. WAKE UP PM MODI & FM JAITLEY

Not today, but for last thirty years it has been practice in Banks to deduct wages for the strike period. NO WORK, NO PAY PRINCIPAL IS FOLLOWED RIGIDLY. If in spite of this employees go on strike ,their must be good reason. Please compare productivity of PSU employees by actually doing O&M study. A cashier in private sector Bank hardly makes 60 payments a day against over 100 payments a day of PSU banks.Same applies for other first line staff. Please pass comments on facts and not on fiction

Bank employees always go on strikes without pay only for the past 3 Decades or so unlike in any other Govt sector where it is adjusted in their leave records.In fact their salary revision, etc are achieved after strikes without pay and this portion is utilized in giving revision.Please note this.

They will not be able to stand competition for sure. Try opening a new account in a bank and see how they try to avoid you .. more accounts, more work !! They will keep on asking you for some paper or the other till you get tired and leave.
Forget service to customer, which bank officers don't care, they are rude don't care common people but they are always licking behind persons like Malya, Ambani to get bribe from them to provide loans and service
Govt. servants and bank employees avail maximum leaves after judiciary and have DA linked salary, perqs. and pension, still strike. A joke of our democratic system where all such servants have become master of people as used to be in British time. Where is Modi SWARAJ.

Bank strike is already on the basis of NO WORK NO PAY, it means you do not know exactly what happens to striking employees, Secondly you never mentioned the root cause of strike... out those one is to GET heavy loan amount back because that money was public money (ultimately loss to your money). Think once again bankers are getting loss of pay for one day for your money (by recovery of NPA).. and all ur services are still running on eplatform, NEFT/RTGS, ATMs, Mobile banking is working. Banker\'s strike is for curing your money dude.... There is no pension after 2003 or so, please update yourself .....
