If we have the will we can certainly attack the issue : though swiss banks may not be operating in India much, we can tell our banks in india not to accept guarantees or LCs issued by Swiss banks unless these swiss banks comply with our request. Secondly, we can ask the swiss banks to let us have the names of those who have closed their accounts during the past ten years and how the balances held in the closed accounts were paid to them. we should also threaten not to import any goods from Switzerland till they comply with our demand. But do we have the will?

Mr Mandook raj - are you aware that none of Indian Banks are in the top 200 biggest banks of the world. That is why Mr P Chidambaram talked of merger of nationalised banks to 3/4 to make it big. Swiss Bank not necessarily to depend on any Indian bank and they have more options of other big foreign banks or thro representative banks to have referred transactions. Even in India no body could get particulars of transactions of any account except some authorized departments and court. Politicians are made people to believe that more black moneys are being kept in Swiss Bank for so many years. As long as the corrupt bureaucrats are there we cannot eradicate black money. Black money is being invested more in land & buildings, Gold etc. and for spending luxuriously.

I fail to understand why the common mortal like us should unduly get worked up about black money in Swiss bank of else where. It is better left to the politicians and corporates. Common man should be happy as long as the man with 56 inch chest gives you all half yearly DA, Bonus, insurance coverage @ e. 1 per month, little bit of subsidy in LPG and other items through PDS. BJP or Congress or other parties, all are the same brigade who are only interested in filling their own coffers with ill gotten money. Comrades be happy and contented because politicians are providing little bit of subsidized provisions through PDS, half yearly DAs etc. What else you all expect from past, present or future politicians.

Most of the money in swiss account is of BJP and Congress politicians, more so of BJP members and sympathisers, majority of whom also happen to be businessman. And Modi has helped these businessmans to shift their money out of Swiss account elsewhere while all the time fooling gullible Indian public.
& invest it in all the Premier Cricket Leagues in India. Poor things are running short of funds ever since courts have been uncovering n penalising their scams(!) & in the process, jeopardised viewership which is on the wane.
Befitting move by the people who shifted their money to Swiss bank, people do not have faith in Indian Govt. due to revengeful attitude including Jaitley, therefore all these people parked their money outside India, when Swiss can provide security and confidentiality to every man in the world, why we cannot manage here, at least money will be available, tax issues are govt. concern, money does not have any colour. We cannot call every money as black too, when govt. could not find black money within country and even could not punish all hard core corrupts in India itself how can they expect to bring it from outside. It is befooling people.
Since one and half year poor people as well as middle class people are waiting to deposit the black money generated by the Indian people outside the Indian territory in Swiss Bank, H.K.Bank and other reputed banks in world, which is supposed to be brought back to India by the Present NDA Government. Print this message, at least some expected date may be announced by the concerned ministry in the Center. The people of India are eagerly waiting for the quick response at the earliest.
