Give the names of the corporates and details of benefits extended by Modi Sarkar to them. Do not make wild allegations as some opposition political leaders are making baselessly.

200 Rallies propsed by BJP
by Ram Niwas on May 23, 2015 10:55 PM

I would request Hon. PM Modi Ji to please cancel all this show . It is a sheer wastage of public money and manpower. I think each rally should cost not less than 100 crores. That way we can save wastage of resources worth 20000 crores and utilise this money on development works such as forestation, construction of dwellings for poor fishermen and the like. Hope good sense will prevail upon the proposers of such rallies and this unnecessary wastage avoided.
There are other cheap means to educate public about whatever achievements Govt. has made during past one year.

Modi's achievements
by Ram Niwas on May 23, 2015 10:48 PM

There hsa nothing been remarkable about the achievements during last year. International oil prices declined sharply for which Modi ji is not responsible. That was due to efforts by large number of End Users and producers policies. We should not boast of the decline in national oil prices. The prices were reduced during 9 months period . However the increase during past three months has almost neutralized the same. Consumes stands at no gain whatsoever.
Modi is busy travelling to foreign countries to seek loans/helps. Nobody helps you without ones own national interests. This the way people increase their business and we get fooled. Foreign head of Govts hardly go our on such extraordinary journies for not more than a month during whole year. They devote more time in their offices to tackle domestic problems/issues. When shall we learn all this. Befooling of public for long will be counterproductive.

90% of Modi's achievments........
by ramamani sadasivan on May 22, 2015 12:23 AM  | Hide replies

After long time I find a sensible write up on these columns and what is said in this article is largely TRUTH...!!!....but for the drop in Crude prices, the inflation, fiscal deficit fall etc would not have been possible. Yes...the earlier despondency is gone and there is a positive feel in the minds of citizens and foreigners about the country. Modi promised a great deal and people beleived him AND gsve him a massive majority in the Lok Sabha polls But - Has Modi lived up to the expectations of the people..?? The answer is
a big " NO "....He could have done much much more but, has not done so....!!..His biggest failiure is that he has not broken the back of the currupt in the society be in the traders, be it the rich
agriculturists, or be it the speculators. Corruption is a very much the name of the game and with the right connection, it is possible to get anything done in North Block or South Block of New Delhi.

One should not expect any miracle from any leader within in a period of one years from taking control from the most corrupt central government India ever had. Atleast Modi is sincere in his approach to the problems of common people as he aware of it having experienced himself unlike other leaders of other parties who got the top post without any qualification or efforts. Modi has hired the best be autocrats including the RBI governor Rajan are are allowed to work freely without any fear or pressure. Modi himself has no self or family interest in whatever he do as is an experienced, successful ,mature leader with lots of wisdom, success, vision and foresight and he work with total sincerity, dedication and devotion. Proessor S Janakrajan has given a balanced view unlike other economists like Amratya Sen whose only mission is to criticise Modi and his government. Such economists can have only bookish knowledge without any practical experience to solve any economical problems of such a large country with the largest population. It is rightly said by someone that people take role of a critic after having miserably failed to solve any problems themselves. Modi has got a mandate for five years and like a seasoned player, he will play his game like a test match and people should not expect him to entertain them by asking him to play like 20 over cricket match. He i has tough task ahead and is mature and experienced enough to go after his goal as per his format .

Modi is no match to Manmohan singh. Manmohan Singh along with Late PM Narshimga Rao have been revival of Indian . Mere singing of slogans in favor of Modi is not good. economy Modi is a good man but you cannot compare him with previous Pm. Manmohan Singh worked in most extraordinary circumstances without any majority in Parliament that too when BJP did not allow parliament to function during most of 10 years of Manmohan Singh period.

but what you have said does Modi agrees with it.. No. We have seen him and his party bloat about the achievements which are just not there. A year is too less a time to evaluate the performance wherein the good and the bad of the previous government gets carried forward. But here we have these folks take credit (like the decrease in oil price) and criticize the previous government where in we do not see any progress. Criticism and a comparison(which is also not on facts) is what we have seen from this government. It is no different form the previous governments. They have the mandate, let us wait and see whether they would be able to do justice to the faith of people or not. As of now they have the luck on their side as said in the article.

One sincere, honest person is not enough for this country to bring drastic change unless the people of this country change their attitude and mentalility and improve their behaviour.
