Bank has opted this option (Dispensing money through ATM),to reduce the man power (saved lot of money). and paying meager salary to securities (where is that money gone) its shame for the banking sector.If bank is going to charge the customer i will file PIL in Supreme Court.
SBI, if you had not give the loans to big business sharks, that ended as NPA, you would have been making huge profits. Give loans to legitimate small businesses. Big businesses have investors, FDI who can give them money. Now you loot common man, who makes 10000 to 30000 a month. Most of your customers fall in this category. Sick of UPA, sick of the rich, sick of people who take huge loans, dont repay, and roam about in BMW and benz. When the common man who cannot repay 2000rs attempts suicide.
It appears that SBI MD started thinking customer are burden to them. If they do not have the account, what SBI will do ? Cash withdrawal at the bank is lesser now ? What do we do that sanctioned strength in the banks ? Is the SBI efficiency at par with other banks ? SBI making lot of difference in CASA with no and/or less interest amount. Neither less their perks and emoluments ? Now the western concept has taken place. First start with free, then charge and escalate. By the way, how are we costing per transaction, with your inefficiencies ?
