SBI E banking console
by arupratan sit on Jan 13, 2014 12:06 PM

in HVF Avadi, they have installed E Banking console without 'enabaling' most of the manus.
one console is lying idle for months.
one E banking console prints only passbook...most of the time there is no network. at least it should have been connected to the branch. Staff show that terminal to print most of the time...though it is down. ink level also goes unnoticed.

misuse of ATM
by arupratan sit on Jan 13, 2014 11:59 AM

I like to have a Mini Statement whenever I transact. ATM does not ask for that. it gives out a statement of the instant. some sbi atm stil does not ask whether I require a statement or not.
Right side menus are still disable for many ATMs.
whenever there is no currency stock The Guard (now the Lord ) puts up the board : ATM out of order. I have to quarrel that I don't require currency...I have some other business..like sending money.

Multiple Transactions
by S K on Jan 13, 2014 11:43 AM  | Hide replies

I have to do multiple transactions at the ATM because it dispenses money in Rs. 500/- denominations. in every transaction, you get only 5 notes of Rs. 100/-. If SBI will change this method and issue denominations as per customer's choice, few transactions will be done by the customer.

they should charge provided they keep the service up 24X7 and the ATM are in hotnet. With BSNL it should not go down. money inventory should be known to CEO at any point of time. soiled not should not come out. etc.

SHOULD NOT CHARGE
by rama rao on Jan 13, 2014 11:16 AM

Banks staff payments are not there for ATM service. Hence, ATM service is cheaper. Hence, no charges should be made for ATM Operations

should charge
by nailesh kumar on Jan 13, 2014 10:45 AM

We needs our Indian banks to sustain, the reason for this there lots of retired People who depends on Bank for their Monthly fixed deposit. And India has Banking which is most healtiest comparing to Other nations, which USA has acknowledged when there was fall of Lehman on 2008. I strongly feel bank should charge from 0.10% - 0.30% for every ATM transaction starting from the first transaction even thou the customer has an account in their own branch and More Important reduce FAT salaries of Executives working for the Banks.

Why banks should have ATMs of their Own--????
by Sheikh Akber on Jan 13, 2014 10:30 AM

Instead their should be an associate ATMs, a single ATM which can cater needs of customers of different banks, 3-5 banks can jointly run the ATM, share the cost/rent/power/security, now they are running ATMs singely for every bank which is adding their running cost and causing losses...customer shouldn't be charged, instead step should be taken by banks to jointly run the ATM, cutting cost and improving service standard.
