why is there no mention of Naya Raipur? I sit because it has been completely done by Indians? It is far larger than most of these and is one of the very few greenfield capital cities of the 21st Century. Please include and appreciate.
The author did not even bother checking the facts. For example, Masdar City in the outskirts of Abu Dhabi is not longer proceeding. The just finished the one building, and called it quits. The original township of energy positive concept does not work. The original design from Smith and Gill is shelved, and the project is on hold for the last 2 years. Please check your facts.
Only Lavasa and GIFT can be deserve to be in this list, I have seen Navi Mumbai, it's not up to the international standard - I don't understand who included Navi Mumbai in this list...!! If we think Navi Mumbai standard of infrastructure and civic aminites is enough enough then after 100 year our country is going to remain the same, Lavasa and GIFT both are amazing projects one is private and other one is Gujarat government and both needs to be appreciated for their international standard work...

Lavasa was created by destroying forests of western Ghats contributing to ecological imbalance due to greed of few wealthy people. that's not development.
