It is said that due to lack of clearance of site for the depot, the construction work could not be commenced. The requirement of Depot will come at much later stage, and construction work should not have been allowed to be delayed. The cost would gave escalated two-fold by this delay. It is felt that the "Depot clearance" excuse was to save the tenderer from penalty.
WHAT EVER REASONS THE GOVT SHOWING ON PAPERS, THE MAIN PROBLEMS ARE - (1) THE GOVT LEAD BY SONIAJI'S CONGRESS WAS INTERESTED JUST TO DECLARE THE PROJECT ONLY. CURRENT EXAMPLE IS, IN THE YEAR 2013 HOW MANY SCHEMES DECLAREED FOR NEXT 10-15YEARS WITHOUT ANY SOURCE OF IMPLEMENTATION. (2) ALL THE POLITICAL PARTIES ALSO INTERESTED TO EARN PERCENTAGE FROM EACH PROJECT. (3) FOR EVERY CLEARANCE, TOP OFFICIALS FROM STATE GOVT & CENTRAL GOVT WANTED TO GET SOME AMT FROM CONTRACTORS WHO ARE LINKED WITH PROJECT. TILL TEHY RECD AMT, THEY ARE NOT GIVING CLEARANCE. (4)IN ALMOST ALL PROJECT THERE ARE SUB-CONTRACTORS, EITHER THEY ARE RELATIVES OF MINISTERS OR MINISTER'S CHOISE. SO THE MAIN CONTRACTOR IS NOT ABLE TO GO AGAINST HIM AT ANY TIME. IF YOU ARE HAVING CAPACITY OF FULLFELLING THE PERSONNEL REQUIREMENT OF POLITICAL LEADERS & GOVT OFFICIALS, IMMEDIATELY YOU WILL GET CLEARANCE FROM EACH & EVERY DEPT AT EVERY STAGE. FOR EXAMPLE - LAVASA PROJECT OUR GREAT CM WENT PERSONNELY TO DELHI & GET CLEARANCE FROM JAYANTI NATRAJAN WITHIN 3 DAYS. BUT FOR THE HOUSING PROJECT FOR "GIRANI KAMGAR" OUR GREAT CM IS FACING LOT OF PROBLEMS TO GET CLEARANCE. SO ALL THE LEADERS ARE FOOLING TO COMMON MAN SHOWING THAT THERE IS PROBLEM TO GET CLEARNACE FROM SO MANY GOVT DEPTS.
The very reason for delay in public projects is the Pvt sector companies, because they want to earn wind fall profits in all Govt projects, they first try to grab the projects what ever may be the condition of contracts and slowly start influencing their muscle and money power to blackmail the honest govt officers to heed to their requirements otherwise approach the legal bodies,it is very well known in our country if anything goes to legal it will take years to solve the issues,in the mean time they try to ammend the contract & policy conditions in favour them thru corrupt politicians,and try to remove the honest officers either by influence or wait till their terms get over.then try to elcale teh project cost and loot the public money by all means and ways possible.the very goodexample is the present roads,metroproject,2G,3G,Coal gate and KG BASIN Gas projects see how the both Govt and BJP Jintly helps the Corrupt corporates,particularly Gujju based few corporates which involves in all the scams,even they control the media to support them by not bringing any of these scams to limelight.so neither cong nor BJP will give a good governence only regional parties if wish can control the corruption if they have a peolpe welfare oriented and mass support leaders .so the first step is to stop all teh BIg corporates entering the fast track and sensitive projects like Infrastructure and energy projects.

The very reason is an inept and corrupt government, whose members doesn't even deserve to compete in an election, let alone being in power
Thanks to current Congrs and NCP govt, enormous bribe taking parties are ruling the state now, what can u expect from them?? BJP should bring in some good and honest faces not the Munde like people who are actually friend of them...

Just you can compare the decision taken by Mr.Gadkari about the fly-over bridges & almost all bridges are completed while State Govt.lead by BJP-SS.
PPL @ NAVI MUMBAI ARE WORKING CLASS.. THEY LIVE A DOGS LIFE IN LOCAL TRAINS WHEN THEY COMMUTE FROM PANVEL TO CST & ANDHERI. BOTH THE AIRPORT & METRO ARE NOT GOING TO HELP THEM IN ANY MEANS .. ITZ THE MAFIA HANDLING THESE PROJECTS....
Nothing will move ahead until the same project falsely crosses the cost to 1 lac crore/more. How the world has progressed, we are way far behind even the dark part of Africa in terms of corruption and selfishness.
This is nothing, Forest Land case has been stuck with the governmen and SupremeCourt for 10 years now. Our comlete system upto the SC are inept and corrupt.
