A True Indian
by Ramesh Mosur on Sep 09, 2012 12:09 PM

Dr. Kurien showed what Indians can achieve when given a free hand. India's problems are all because of the self centered politicians. May his soul rest in peace.

"Arrogant"(?), "Eccentric"(?). "Egoist&q

[1] Some leaders are seen as rude/whimsical/self-centred. But these traits appear to be sometimes useful -even necessary- to bring about big-scale, sustainable Change, especially Social change.

Such instituition builders leave behind a legacy.

Dr K had the foresight to spot & nurture talent.

[2] Awards like BRatna are ironical for a visionary who was against bureaucracy/politics.

[3] Names like Ela Bhatt (SEWA),M S Swaminatahn (Green Revolution),E. Sreedharan (Delhi Metro) ALSO come to mind when one salutes committed persons who delivered tangible results despite huge challenges.

A N vora, Mumbai.

A true son of India. His service to the nation is immeasurable. Unfortunately Bharat Ratna is collected by fake Gandhi family and such deserving people dont get it.
