Will the officials do the same with other road side restaurants - hygiene and food standard must be the same for any outlet,

These road side restaurants are not multi billion dollar MNCs, dont do any advertising and neither do they charge the amount of money that these outlets do.

It is due to rediff not covering raids in KERALA on roadside joints that this idea came to you. Please get updated before making such a comment.

Certainly, hygiene standards should be applied. But a decent road side food is still better in terms of freshness because of it's daily turnover of stock instead or average sized restaurant where semicooked food is preserved (may be for days) in bulk.

Eating in a neat and clean looking sitting arrangement doesn't may not necessarily be reflective of cleanliness in kitchen.

This is the reason our "MONEY DOES NOT GROW ON TREES" must have told us that FDI will create more jobs, i.e. removal of worms from chicken.
