Better hygiene than most indian eateries.

KFC McD etc practises better hygiene than most Indian eateries.
They probably do not know the art of greasing
If you look t the trucks transporting chicken most of them half dead and sick you should expect more than worms. The condition of cattle which is transported to be converted into beef in kerala is even worse.

KFC , McDonalds safer than local restaurants
by Rahul VA on Oct 11, 2012 03:36 PM  | Hide replies

i will say that KFC , McDonalds are safer than local restaurants which has no accountability whatsoever. There are more worse exp in other hotels but since they are local, it is never mentioned in media. Many recent raids in bangalore had found poor hygiene and poor quality food in major hotels but these news never goes beyond bangalore

Oh is it- are you saying that or do you say that is the truth. The truth is that all commercial eateris including 5 star have this problem- probably in a 5 star the chances are less. But the people who do this are the same... Come on grow up kid.

Targeting big brands - Indian mindset
by mandar on Oct 11, 2012 03:12 PM  | Hide replies

Look at what our hotels (star or otherwise), the various dhaba's, restaurants, road side stalls - what do they serve, how hygeinic they are, who prepares them, who serves them, after how many days do these cooks take bath ????

We Indians are loud mouth. The preparations, hygeinic conditions, sourcing, serving, the Employees employed are thousand times better in the brands like KFC, McDonalds. What we are talking about?

How is it that a brand like KFC is unhygeinic and the road side stalls where more people visit is found hygeinic. Such a great hypocracy.

We find self-esteemless Indians holding brief for American outlet KFC, which had live worms in its chicken preparations. On inspection by officials, chicken in the freezer was found to be 6months old!Any justification for support to this outlet?

by inder ratra on Oct 11, 2012 03:10 PM

"Food safety inspectors soon raided the outlet, finding chicken served to contain 2.8 per cent monosodium glutamate (MSG), said to cause nausea and headaches, retardation and birth defects. "

I tried some veg buger and some other fried veg stuff in their, KFC, delhi outlet. Was sick immediatly, now i know who was culprit.

Cannot be KFC stopped from using MSG and other unhygenic sustances.

Anyway KFC people will bribe the officals and go an practising their trade of serving un healthy food in India.

to realize the fact that restaurants should be used only if you have to. Unfortunately we are making it a fashion to eat out more often than not. Eating out is unhealthy. No doubt about it. So restrict for your own health.

If you get an opportunity, you would ask people even to eat dead human beings. People can't eat anything and everything that is dead :-)

One incidence in KFC in one branch after so many years has caused panic. One International team hand found that all 5 star hotels in India (forget lower catagory, dabhas etc.) do not neet hygene criteria at all. KFC branch should be allowed to continue.
