AIR-INDIA ISSUES
by ramachandran ramesh on May 12, 2012 04:21 PM

The government should use other carriers to sell seats on code sharing thereby they can make money instead of flying the aircrafts using hopeless staff. They are rotten, hefty, bulky with no attitude to work.still government can make money by leasing the aircrafts to foreign companies instead of hiring these staff.

AI - why it cant be shut
by mrjoko on May 12, 2012 04:06 PM

AI is a private pool of air crafts for neta, babu and their relatives.

Dis-investing it would mean end of this privilege.

As simple as that.

This the reason why government is never going to bid it farewell; It will not even, at the least, let a professional management take over.

This is well known to the "blue collared" pilots and they are right when they believe that come what may, government will come around and meet their demands.

Poor us! We who pay for flying are expendable. Who after all needs few thousand bucks for the economy seats we fly on! To keep running this club crores of rupees need to be infused on periodical basis. Of course it is public money, but who can stop government from doing that?
