Every day tons of food are getting thrown as left out by passengers in all Rajdhani Exps. It is criminal. Railway should stop supplying free food in all the Rajdhani Exp and instead introduce other facilities like video screening Wi-fi quality magazines etc or even reduce tkt price. But wastage of food in country like India is crime.

You are absolutely right. Why not focus on Modern Facilities like Wi-fi or otherwise reduce the fare??? The condition of Second-sleeper coaches is still not up to the Global Standards. Also the number of accidents has increased.
Its a serious message to the Indian Railways Coach Factory. Get updated in design, technology and systems. Create and modernize goods and products for export that India will be recognized. Bring in class design and technology. Create a R&D cell with class engineers and ensure that they can outclass, then we will be recognized.
Indian Railways do not have good Design Oriented and Finishing Professional Team like China and Western Countries. Most of the Govt. Employees are not skilled to provide trends. So the Govt should allow Private to make design and build independently. Recent example even in Srilanka why they are buying the Rail coached from China and not from India. One time in AP the former chief minister Mr.CB Naidu also criticised the finishing of Indian Railway coaches. These are all because of Design factors. Though the Govt.people are expert in Execution they are always failure in Aesthetical Designs.

As u have referred about Srilanka...I would like to cite an example...only 2 days ago a relative of mine has come back from Srilanka. He had visited Colombo and othet two towns of that country. He found the roads, high ways, general road sense and discipline very good and impressive. He asked a local person about maintenance of roads. What he got as reply was simply amazing..the person replied that there is no regular maintenance required as the roads are constructed with high quality material without any kind of foul play and it has no repetive laying or repairs . Whereas even our nantional Capital N.Delhi cannot boast of such things. The difference is perhaps that of level of corruption and resultant use of substandard materials.

I will give u just one reason, the corruption exits but hear me out, its called "tonnage". The weight LEGALLY allowed on a TRUCK. Yes the law says you cannot carry more than X amount of weight or u must increase the number of wheels for equal distribtions, U cant imagine what a HEAVY OVER loaded TRUCK does to our ROADS. Besides L&T has built many Sri Lankan roads, have u heard L&T doing in India ? Will u vote Annna for good roads ?

In Sri Lanka, government hospitals are the most efficient ones. In great India, politicians try to close down government hospitals and open private hospitals. Also corruption in government hospitals hampers. We Indians are worser than animals, do not hesitate to adultrate even food items, which may kill our own people. We indians and our Indian politicians understand only making money and not humane values. Our politicians are not humans but just selfish and greedy animals.

One thing we have to realize is that in India Government, both State and Central agencies do not pay hid to scientific developments. Suppose new technology is to be implemented, or an officer has to undergo some training. It will take years to get sanctions. It is better to be a clerk or school teacher in India than an engineer. School teachers work for half day and take away more than full days salary in a year. Some teachers manage to get Lecturers post in some colleges in India by doing Diploma in fashion technology or BSc Home science and earn more than a Chief Engineer of any state. People seating on top like Kapil Sibbal and AICTE chairman never understands the importance of Engineering and Technology.
When essential goods like petrol,diesel or LPG can be decontrolled or there are proposals for the last two for decontrol for the vested interest..why can't private hands be allowed to build railway coaches so that there are atleast new models..fittings...safety measures made available. Otherwise we cannot have anything better than canisters with box like looks.
Ppl - Notice that exports r happening to countries, similar to India - African Nations. No one in Europe or Asia will buy from IR. If we were so good, y import Delhi Metro from Germany?
