To counter FDI , Malls , in surat farmers have made a mega mall (APMC mall ) near surat railway station on ring road. By looks it looks like a corporate house of a foreign co. & Managed by farmers , every thing will be sold at a fair price. This is the result of co operation/ unity which can avert influx of FDI
I am not competent to comment on the subject. But I can certainly say a few things .The question in Indian environment is How many politicians can make money out of a policy decision and who are the industrialists who are backing the same and how much they can pay the politicians - all policy decisions are based on this.

Centre & Most of state government is sitting of huge pile of funds.In efficient machinery doesnt know how to spent it properly.For a peroject worth 200crores they will float tander of 1200crores , now you know how money is syphoned & where it goes.
