Man he is taking of some sense. Unfortunately we have very few wise people like him in our country with REAL DESI THOUGHT. Most of the so called intellectuals,corporates & politician dogs will kill his thoughts.We really need more such Madhav Gadgils.

Very apt. FDI does not benefit any country. FDI benefits only the corporate investing the FDI. Even Obama's call to open up India is not because he had the interests of the comman man in America. He was just pandering to American corporations.

FDI is something which every country in the world is looking for ,most of the countries have one to 15 days TAT to allow you doing business and investment with them
it's not only special to india..every country is in rush for F.D.I .no credible nation is against it.except few who paid price for their stupidity.
while saying "No country benefit from F.D.I"please not maximum F.D.I is availed by USA AND WEST. thatz the reason they are rich.
PPL like u only ask for free supply so that u get everything by doing nothing.
but prosperity is always by doing maximum business ,creation of capital and wealth.
Even carl marx was in favour of wealth and capital creation.

~90% Indians are brought up by Poor Dad parents they want free, give a gift and expect big gift or pretending, telling lies etc.See the way salaried commenting, they forget from where and how they get salaries.Our education system and culture is generating many Madhav Gadgils we have to change it to make a practical society.

Very True. Obame or Hillary they are just messengers of huge corporations of US like Walmart, Goldman Sachs. I lived in US for 7 years before returning back to India and so I am convinced by this fact. Please everyone watch the movie 'Capitalism - A love story' by Michael Moore to get a true picture of capitalism that is USA.

so can u elaborate one reason why india can not have such corporation..after living 7 years in USA , do u think indians have same standard of living ..wotever u call them .but they have money ,luxury and comfort which an indain can't imagine in his wild dreams??
Reason is simple ,they create wealth ,capital and we simply condemn ,criticize and live happily in slums,

Exactly, high population is behind all our ills. Right from land wars, water wars, corruption, illiteracy, farmer suicides, riots. In all these, the main ingredient is high population.
How this person got in to such position with a total negative approach?. FDI is money and India require money to do various projects.Why people are going to bank for loan,it is same as that.We cannot have alps like western Ghats as we have 1.2B people whom to be fed.Reduce population then go for such things like Europe.But we should do all remedial measures while mining etc. Without mining industry will be dead. Govt earning will be dead and all will have to be imported and India will move back. Look at China and take decisions no need to debate. Many have already done such jobs.

Do you think industrialists in India do not have money? There is a huge domestic economy. There is an even bigger shadow economy in the form of black money. All this talk about FDI is to bring back more black money and convert it. That is all. When the world is reeling under severe crisis, which Foreign investor would want to invest in a country whose own investors do not show any confidence?
He must be a commie! India's major resource is their human resource and if we have to provide livelihood through employment to them FDI is a must. We know the condition in which our farmers live. Small land holding is a curse on India making farming nonviable. Consolidation of land holding, co-operative farming and corporatism of Farming is the solution. FDI is a must for this. Yes of course as the labor is cheap in India and China because of the availability and hence profitability is higher. China is benefiting from FDI but India is lagging because of such pseudo intellectuals commies!

Haha, you have been brainwashed by the talk that India's young population is its stregth, not realizing that this young population will be growing old pretty soon. If so to keep the proportion in favour of young population more babies must be produced and this is the recipe for disaster. So more people fighting for crumbs thrown at them means more cheaper labour. This is what is called exploitation. The FDI is here not to help us. It is to help themselves. Have you not heard of houses being mortgaged and then being taken over by the banks leaving those who took the loan not only in penury but even without a roof over their heads?
