now when the holidays tickets are sold
by sanjay agarwal on Jul 03, 2012 02:18 PM

Mid June to mid August are peak holiday season for USA and Europe. The tickets are already booked and Air India was suffering in this period. Emirates and other airlines have charged anywhere between 1 lac and 3 lac for tickets which are usually Rs.60-70,000/-. Air india management, pilots and politicians have definately taken money from these airlines for a deliberate run down.

Puppet pilots

It is very clear .The strike was called during peak season. They were simply puppets with strings being pulled by the competition. The competition used politicians and manipulated the pilots. The airline lost business during peak season and the pilots lost their credibility. The competition and the ploiticians are laughing their way to the bank. What a shame. We never learn.

by sanjay agarwal on Jul 03, 2012 02:15 PM  | Hide replies

everyone knows the fact that loss of airindia was gain of emirates and other international carriers. how come emirates mounted so many flights in last one year from india?..their all flights to Europe and USA from India via dubai go full and surprisingly all flights from dubai to USA and europe/UK has 90% indian passengers. it was well thought nexus where emirates is likely to have paid for strike and also air india top management. its a shame for air india and our so called PM and aviation ministers. Since days of Prafull Patel Air india has been sold bit by bit to Emirates. Emirates pumps in good amount of money in Indian politics thru kerela.

The fact that emirates has 90% of the passengers originating from India towards US/Europe is very true and its difficult to get seats on some of these flights.

Its a big SHAME and SHAM on Indian Airlines not to capitalize on this great demand, while a foreign airline makes tons of money.

Ajith singh may be sad to call of strike at earliest..... Both the management and pilots pushed ticket fare of other lines by minimum 100%....Why mob is always fools? The lossers are we only?

Now the Govt will consider all the demands of Pilots because summer holidays are over and there is no much rush for travellers. During the peak season the govt helped all pvt airlines to earn huge profits. Now holidays are over and Air India can operate the flight and make losses.

Strict action required
by Pele Lele on Jul 03, 2012 02:09 PM  | Hide replies

AI Management should take strict and stern stand against these highly paid pilots. New terms imposing strict prohibition on strikes should be put forth for all employees and force them to accept these new terms. It should ask them to compensate for losses the airline suffered because of the strike.

Very well. Take all actions against pilots and all the staff of air india. Let all the useless, mps, bureacrats, vips, vvips, mla and goog for nothing politicians roam around in the aircrafts for their personal use with the tax payers money. But strict action should be taken against pilots for demanding their right. well said.
