Do research before post

It is misleading article. Rasogolla is traditional sweet at Jaganaatha Temple, puri. At it is 900 years old. KC das has not invented rasogolla.

Rasagollas: The Origin
by swati on Nov 16, 2011 11:14 AM  | Hide replies

Despite whatever being written over here, the truth stands that Rasagollas owe their origin to Odisha. They have been in Odisha since centuries. They are in fact offered to Goddess Laxmi during breakfast in order to appease her. One look into wikipedia will provide enough evidence for this fact. Rediff, better do some research prior to publishing hearsay stuff.

Hello Swati
Your information regarding rsogulla is correct. But the article describes how K C Das worked to make it international known

Well! the author has given credit to KC Das for the invention.
"Das and his invention became famous in no time."
what do you say?

Aygga Namaskar.
Das started in 1866 and the international repute came sometime perhaps 100 years later. It is a big time

What Sailendra intended is that the claim of Mr Das of being inventor of rasgulla is nothing but hoax & untrue...

International repute? Haldiram sells more rasogollas than K C das in international market. K C das may be credited for packaging of Rasogollas not for the invention of rasogolla. Das christened it 'rasogolla'- very much untrue

The canned Rasogollas taste beautiful. Also their Dalpuri with Aludam and other sweets are very good.
