A great entrepreneurial story

Cognizant is a great entrepreneurial story for most of us to learn and follow. Its phenomenal growth in just over 15 years is worth emulating for all the startups out there. While they are giving sleepless nights to some of their bigger competitors, I think they are continuing to do well primarily because of their focus on their customers and employees.

China .. Hmmm

China is not an opportunity. There is hardly foreign company (non manufacturing) that makes any money in China. They are kind of giving some free stuff for these sofwtare companies to know how to run this Business. Our fools are falling for it & taking these offers. Once they figure out the Business they will throw out these companies. Ex., Aptec ///

Anyway Greed without strategy would make our software companies go out of Biz

the media in india does not believe in research. it s the era of easy reporting - put a mike near some1 s mouth and record what they say ; it s the next day s article for the world to read.

what ever happened to a journo s instinct and need to verify the credentials of all the jazz that the honcho s feed the world ? rightly so, Ramalinga Raju was India s gift to humanity till some1 blowed the whislte. We ve not learnt our lessons ; clearly the media atleadt has nt learnt its.

Dig deeper and report facts else dont waste our time.

Spot on !! Satyam case was great wake up call particularly for the media as what these CEO's and CFO's talk is just another gimmick from the hat and boosting up their company and trying to keep their low waged employees from looking elsewhere!! It’s all in the game and the media is always looking for some news to hit the headlines rather than provide genuine facts based on research and trends to project and substantiate the evidence ..
