MUKESH ONLY SPENDS MONEY ON 737 JETS, YATCHES AND MANSIONS. HE IS AFTER ALL OF THE SECOND GENERATION, AND IT IS PUBLIC MONEY. ASK HIM HOW MUCH PHILANTROPHY HE HAS DONE, LIKE BILL GATES. HIS WIFE RUNS A SCHOOL MEANT ONLY FOR MILLIONAIRES.
Comments made by Ratan Tata in whatever context are worth to draw attention from each one of us who are said to be have's in the society to not only think but contribute/do some thing for the have not's of the society. The gap between have and have not's is really widening to alarming limits and as Ratan Tata is rightly said will lead to next revolution in the country just like what is happening in Arbian Countries in other name. People with lots of wealth which they have earned not by their hard work but with tricks to fool poor people with proper nexuses between politics & officers running the country, should set examples of simplicity and high thinking and should come forward to make the life of deprived people some thing better.
by building such a mansion mukesh bhai has given more employment like house keeping, cooks, electricians drivers etc.take in a positive way mr. tata.but i admire tatas and pls close this issue ratan might not have said from his heart may be slip of tongue

fine, but for what gain to humanity? consumerism? which produces nothing but the waste at the end point???
If Ratan Tata would have been married he could have understood the helplessness and compulsions of a married man like Mukesh. None in his family attends those afternoon Kitty parties
Re: NO WIFE
by chandar reddy on May 23, 2011 04:07 PM
offficially he is not married .but he is spending for that more than Mukesh .. if you want details check on radia tape
One must realize that it is better to build a million or billion dollar mansion like Ambani did because here he is providing an opportunity to earn for the others instead of making them beg for charities....we need many more such spenders to boost the industry.... money is like a river, it goes, it comes back again.

India is a society of huge disparities. What tata meant was that the rich people of the society should make money accessible to the underpriveleged.

Capitalist society has cons too. Mr. M.Ambani is an example of that. He ha monoply in petrochemical based polymers and control the market & govt. on its demand-supply & pricing. Govt. could have installed polymer crakers, but was influenced by RIL not to do so. Plastic manufacturers depends on RIL to run their factory, the day they import granules, their inland supply is affected forever in India. RIL buys cheaper oils & fuels from govt. oil companies and sells back to them at market prices...
All said and done, power yields influence & monoploy but should be used in constructive way, RIL is smart company to utilise path to success by hook or ..., but there should be healty competition in market. Political influence (e.g. Sterlite industries case on purchase of Crain Energy required RIL's informal permison etc. are bad for economy).
Tata is company with humaity at heart. They follow sound principles with social responsibility.
Our business leaders should ponder about philathropic & social dvelopment of country as well. Inequality is not at all good for society as it leads to huge social/ anti-social revolutions, history suggests that.
Mr.Ratan Tata said rightly mr. ambani's gesture to show off his wealth in a nation and a city where thirty percent family have no shelter and living in slum and man is saying he does charity anonymously is not to believe or trustworthy my opinion is not for jealousy reason but as a good human being this show off is too much undoubtedly

Hard earned money, my foot! The only person in India who makes hard-earned money is the construction worker and see his plight.

wow manoj! Why are you pissed off? You comment that it is ambani's hard earn money. is pure joke. Everybody knows how ambani made money. No need to debate it here. As far for Ratan it is given by Jamshed Tata, show your lack of information. Today TATA Empire is not what Ratan inherited anyone

completely agreed. Everyone knows that how these big business houses have become so big. QUESTION IS will this debate help you or me? Tata or such big names in India should ask questions to policy makers to change things if they want to.

No, Tata is right to ask tough questions to skumbags like Mukesh. At the age of 78, when he is ready to retire, what is Ratan's motivation? Jealousy you said? Apna jaat dikhaya na?
