by madanmohan siddhanthi on May 20, 2011 07:34 PM  | Hide replies

hope this will be a rennainsance to India .The whole city well planned each and every plot planned and the number of floors everything planned and blue print printed in every news papaer and no authority for corporators and ministers to take money and increase at random FSI .Sell the plots ear marked to Garden and open places plan green patches in the city .Every politicians loots the place in the name of so called Charitable trust - schools and colleges buying land vitrually free. No slums -which a product of Goons and Politicins - plant their people in slums aftweryears use public money to build houses which are given to their goons and extra land sold to builders .Is it a dream or can it have reality .It is pity road ends are narrowed down to singlle four wheeler etc .Let there be autonomus third parties out side the sate to sacntion plans .

perfect answer...these politicians know only construction in the name of development & more construction means more money in the pocket of politicians & burecrates...we have big example...lavasa, adarsh & CWG...small in comparison to cities...think of what will happen to public / tax money...

building castle in the air
by Kalyanasundaram Venkatesh on May 20, 2011 07:31 PM

nonsense
first let all the cities in our country have basic amenities like Electricity, water, drainage, proper roads, etc. After fulfilling these things first, then, lets dream about building futuristic cities. whats the use of planning for this without having proper basic needs, electricity, water, etc.
A single rain for continuous 6 hours will sink the Mumbai city, not to mention about other cities in our country.

Planned in year 2006 what status
by S P on May 20, 2011 07:30 PM

2011 is fifth year after above was planned. What is the status is any activity started by UPA Govt? Or just a good looking project made a part of file? There was before a plan to supply water from river Ganga to Rajasthan & Gujarat. This big project already filed by central Govt.
