No to petrol hike
by yogesh kishor paranjpe on May 16, 2011 06:55 PM  | Hide replies

This is realy a shabby step by the Govt, that they have hiked the fuel prices by whooping 5 & 4 Rs for petrol & diesel respectively. This is real injustice to every common family who is burdened with taxes, hikes and sur charges, now hike in fuelwill burn them alive....

Way to control the LPG price and petrol
by Venkat Narasimhan on May 16, 2011 06:55 PM  | Hide replies

Biogas and cattle's dung is the only way to keep this type of hike under control. Nowadays somebody will think "what rubbish this fellow is talking".
1. Just think guys now we are using bikes and cars so we need petrol. Oil companies hiking its price as it desired. Alternatively like China why not we use cycle for our usual activities???
2. As mentioned above (biogas and cattle's dung) if we choose our old pattern of cooking then oil companies have no work, then they should ultimately reduce its price for sales purpose.

As the prices of food, essential goods and services are up, it's about time to reduce the stupid spending on hyped up real estate, unnecessary spending in malls and multiplexes.
Time to stop taking your car/bike out unnecessarily and cutting down on holiday trip/tours.

Petrol Prices.
by Rahul Dutt on May 16, 2011 06:54 PM  | Hide replies

Well, let the fellow countrymen understand the pricing of patrol. The price is not just for petrol, the major chunk is of various taxes. Petrol is a big source of revenue to the Govt. Why not Government reduces her expenses and thus cut the taxes on patrol to bring the price down??

If the fuel hike was that mandatory why was it held till the elections got over, why was the voter kept in dark, Congress should be punished for using their position for their political benefit, its an open mockery of the democratic system & should not be forgiven

with useless and brainless finance ministers who are merely puppets wither elected by the party high commands or foreign countries recommendation, what can we expect. They hardly know indias people, their problems, the financial system, they get to know through their secys which as ingorant as them. :-)
Congress will face the death in next election. But sadly we will have to choose from another worthless opposition. :-)
