Fremji's Vipro is like Municipality, they have only Testing projects & Netwrongking projects, in the history so far they delivered Billions of Failed Projects in the GULF countries alone.
vipro is king of delivering failed projects to Gulf Countries.
According to wipro its legal to deliver failed Projects & bill to Customer.

A few months ago, Tesla Motors in California was given a land of only 100 acres and only for 30 year lease. The investment by Tesla is $250 mln and at Rs. 47/- per $, it translates to Rs.1,175 Cr which is nearly equal to Tatas investmetn of Rs.1,300 Cr (2000 cr plus, is hog wash. Excess above is only cost overruns!) but on a land of 10 times higher i.e. 1000 acres for a 90 year lease.
If Tesla can produce cars on a similar investment with 1/10th of the land, why Tatas want 10 times of that land?
If Tatas are producing a common man car, Tesla is producing an equally impressive far superior high technology green car!
Even in Capitalist US which has 3 times of Indias land with only 1/3 of Indias population, gives only 1/10 of land and only for 1/3rd of the lease period and that too non-farming land which is not acquired forcibly from private individuals. Contrary to popular perception, land is scarce in India.
Why free market pundits do not advocate free market costs, particularly when the products are sold at market driven prices but not on subsidies either to the farmers or WBIDC or the Govt?
Efficiency of private sector can not be gauged in this method.
The argument of Govt earning taxes is crap! All taxes are pass-throughs to end customers; while profits remain with Tata Motors.

every big corporation in india. reliance, infosys, tata, mittals, vedanta. No one is against development and industrialization but land owner must get equivalant share of the wealth(land) he is loosing. You are taking his livelihood without giving anything back.

Mr.Kabeer, At least Nano is a manufacturing unit which requires a large area to house machines, materials, godown space etc. Software companies in Bangalore foremost among them is Infosys have grabbed or robbed hundreds of acres of lands by the generosity of sucessive governments. What do they need this much land for.? A few hundred and even thousand people sitting PCs and doing some typing work. Infy has more than 500 acres of land in Bangalore alone. But MNCs dont inherit this kind of land grabbing mentality. Companies like Philips, HP, Cisco work from rented premises.

Infosys long term game plan - In case they lose market share in IT, they will have the underlyaing assets to see their founders off for several generations in future. All big companies do that in India....e.g L&Ts powai land is worth several thousands of crores.

It is another form of corporate mafias. Atlease tatas can be passed considering the infrastructural investments but what about IT companies? Why would infosys need 100s of acres to setup their building where every employee sits pathetically in 2-3 cube and pay for the parking? It is snatching the wealth of some poor or not so poor and giving coporates for free. Do the land owners get jobs there.. no. Companies claim they have given them job but contract jobs are not real jobs they are temporary where land owners are thrown out after 6 months or a year.

well, it is politicians -coporations nexus. Atleast politicians will lose elections and will be punished in some cases but coporates will never go through such scrutinies.
