It seems that TCS ,the Asia's biggest IT company is keen on increasing the employee strength.Unlike,Mahindra satyam who is invested in FIFA world cup,TCS has limited investment in thinking out-of-box,except for sponsoring Rajasthan Royals in IPL.TCS should increase employee strength like Accenture ,Siemens and Foxconn but it should also give better pay ,at par with its counterparts.
This wa stold to me by the Top Brass at TCS. The goal is to make most of the people incometent so that they can never leave , the way to acheive that is by moving engineers out of geographies, changing technologies on them and hence ensuring they don't become expert in anything and after some time get so worn out that they don't look elsewhere and nobody wants them as they have become run of the mill.
Believe me this is a secret Corporate policy and very few know this, life passes by without knowing what hit them and once day they wake up after 10 years and realize they now can't move anywhere and become TCS engineer for life.
