Coke or Pepsi?
by Ulta Pulta on Apr 01, 2011 12:14 PM  | Hide replies

To the toilet bowl experiment poster:
The experiment can be repeated with Pepsi as well. Both Pepsi and Coke are made in the same manner.

To those criticizing Pepsi and Coke, I wonder where all the condemnation was when Thums Up and Campa Cola were ruling the roost.

To those criticizing MNCs:
Even the Tatas and Reliances are MNCs. Heh heh.

All junk food is junk regardless of whether it comes from an MNC or an Indian company.

One omission to act against Thums Up and Campa does not justify glorifying colas!

same way itc has already changed the track before
by kailash chander on Apr 01, 2011 08:44 AM

congratulations Indira Nooyi for changing the track and converting your company's focus on healthy drinks. ITC group is expanding/diversifying into other products than smoking/tobacco business. it's good for the society and needs guts to take such steps. Carry on pls and bring more healthy drinks like adding pulpy orange juice, etc. along the biocides/secondary metabolites produced by microbial process.

Coke or Pepsi
by Sheetal Kaur on Apr 01, 2011 03:43 AM  | Hide replies

For me its Thirst quenching, Lip Smaking, Cool fizzin Pepsi all the way.
Coke gives me sinus problems.
beside coke is just a toilet pan cleaner.
If you do not believe me take the test.
If you have yellowed toilet pan or the gloss has vanished from the pan, just pour a tin of coke all around the pan(do not flush after wards) leave it for couple of hours or over night then Just flush it and see the results.
Then come and tell me.

If fruits are contaminated you take steps to grow clean fruits by not using pesticides in farming, you dont instead contaminate your stomach with the same pesticides by drinking coke and pepsi, isn't it?

Coming to economics, ppl talk as if FDI is some donation made to the country, an MNC investing 1 million in FDI will do so only to make 10 million profit out of it, so the country is actually loosing 9 million in the name of FDI. Jobs are created by encouraging local markets and consumption and not by welcoming MNCs, see what the same MNCs have done to their own US where ppl are jobless today.

Yes you are right, there is no dearth of fools in this country who 5hut up their a*ses and pay 40 rupees for a 3 rupee drink filled with toxins, gas and waste, while at the same time argue with a tender coconut vendor providing natural healthy drink for Rs 12.

Yes cockroaches inside bottles is international safety standard. Have you ever had a look at the list of ingredients in these bottles? The original invented formula of coke was for a toilet cleaner, and the gas in it carbon dioxide is the same which is thrown out by our body as waste, and you gulp the same waste in again. When we talk about milk we are not talking about the milk manufactured by coke like MNCs in packs, we are talking about cow's milk from vendors like Amul - if you show urea in Amul's milk you can make millions by suing them. Drink healthy amul beverages instead of toxic water like coke and pepsi. Do you know about the movement going within the western countries itself against coke and pepsi? Only Id1ots in India gulp down them instead of ever healthy plain water. If one really wants to stay healthy and be free from ailments like kidney stones, diabetes etc drink a lot of normal water everyday, nothing better than it.
