AMIT TRIVEDI
People should change their mentality
by AMIT TRIVEDI on Mar 28, 2011 10:48 AM

We live in a democracy, right? And it's us that bring any government to power. Therefore, isn't it the government's duty to feed its people? -- Bablu Mondal.

If people of Bengal still have this mentality that the govt should feed them, its time that they change their mentality for asking more work, more projects for Bengal rather than just asking for food and doing nothing.
Prosperity comes with hard work and not with strikes!!! Ask Unions to stop strikes and ask govt. for more work.

What we can do to others7Kp

We are expecting politicians to deliver to our needs through our vote.
What a single politician can do for the masses, excpting saying. Let us do what we can do to others and ask the politician to render helping hand.

You are trying to judge the Vote as your individual emotions.Alternate is necessary in our democracy. But any one is cordially invited who will maintain peace and law and order. The unrully, power hankering, restless, principalless party will not be accepted by the common people.

Buddhadeb will not be the CM
by Sudip Datta on Mar 25, 2011 08:11 PM

Even if Left Front wins, Mr. Gautam Deb will be the CM. This has been decided internally within the CPI(M) already. He is way more pragmatic than either Buddha or Mamata.

What Mamata Banerjee thinks today, India will think tomorrow!
by mailme alladin on Mar 25, 2011 07:42 PM  | Hide replies

I see lot of my friends repent - once it used to be what 'Bengal thinks today, India will think tomorrow', but after 30 years of CPM rule it got reversed. I don't want to debate that here - that may be different debate. For a moment let me agree with it and on that ground CPM govt. should go. TMC will come to power and Mamata will be the CM and Bengal will get her old glory. What will happen then - 'What Mamata thinks today, India thinks tomorrow'. Can you imagine what will happen to India!

I think IT IS BETTER TO HAVE A KNOWN DEVIL THAN AN UN-KNOWN ONE. since most of the ground level hooligans who were crowding around CPM left them and now crowding with TMC after the last Lok Shabha election. TMC also have few and this new mix has become more un-controllable by their leaders. Their attidudes is questionable now only before they are into Power in Govt. I don't know what they will be if they get in Power. ???
