I am sick of IDIOTIC comparions with China
by Chalta Hai on Mar 23, 2011 12:41 PM  | Hide replies

My pot bellied neighbour bought a Mercedes so I have to buy it too ? What for ??? I don't live to impress my neighbour, he has his life, so do I. I don't care what he buys, he can go f himself, hell I have better ways to spend my money, I can decorate my house make a gym a tv projector on the wall and so on, I don't need cues from my middle age pot bellied neighbour. Got the analogy. I got my OWN life.

Quality matters
by Suresh S on Mar 23, 2011 12:41 PM  | Hide replies

Out of the cars rolled out from India factories, how many are of international standards? A major chunk are of the sort of Tata Indicas which doesnt add to the quality which can make India a quality car manufacturing country. Just numbers dont matter!

china is factory of the world.
by manoj kumar on Mar 23, 2011 12:19 PM  | Hide replies

Wait and see. china will be producing 90% of the world car. thats why they are producing world class infrastructur because it will help them produce things better and cheaper. thats only reason why china is ahead of US and japan. in india all attention goes to neta, govt who says what, blaming etc. thats how we get pleasure from. our energy and time is wasted like that.
its time to wake up, get engaged in real work.

yOur advice for the country is welcome, but your imaginatio that china would produce 90% of the world's cars is foolish. Be careful while giving percentage. The percentage of China's cars will actually come down ans India's will increase. YOu will now be angry but surely you will continue to be wrong and will never recover.

India at No.50
by om shanti on Mar 23, 2011 12:12 PM  | Hide replies

In road conditions,India may be in the 50th position,so nothing to be proud of..

More and more cars in pot-holed jam-packed road means:

1)Wastage of petrol as engine needs to be kept in starting condition in traffic jams.More and more gear changes also adds to this loss.

2)Excessive pollution :Thick smoke in conjested roads, especially affecting the lungs of our children

3)More accidents :Due to bad road condition and rough driving more and more casualties all across the nation.

4)More wastage of time on daily travelling due to traffic jam : A day is 24 hrs,a man normally remains awake for 16 hrs,if 2 hours are wasted on travelling per day due to traffic jam,and the man travels in this condition for 20 years, then he will waste atleast 2 years just be sitting in his car in traffic jamm.

5.Higher maintenance cost:If driving cannot be done in smooth roads, definitely car maintenance cost shoots up !

In view of the above, our focus should be on making wide roads to ensure smooth and safe driving and proper utilization of the investment made on the car and to ensure 100% utilization of petrol without wastage..

Delhi to Agra is 211 km and takes approx 3 hrs, 30 mins by road...

In US or China,it will need 1 hour,45 minutes to cover this distance..

So,we waste 1 hr,45 minutes for travelling a distance of 211 km,and for going and comig we will waste 3 hrs and 30 minutes(the time which is sufficient for allied forces to completely destroy Libya)...
