Harp about the innovations...Majority are in software sector only! In years to come, every sector is going to be automated and the agricultural products are imported through automation! Irony of sorts! Though what these people have done is pride to the nation, the skewed Rediff journalism has left behind the real innovators in the filed of rural technologies, agriculture, husbandry etc. The most important innovations should take place in Basic science. Though there are couple of basic scintists doing path breaking work, the myopic tech crazy Indian society does not recognise that. It is no wonder then that most of the basic technology in nuclear and space science is still being imported (read Indo - US nuke deal)!
Seperate state menas Creation of new VidhanBhavans, New govt. Departments, New buildings. If there 30 ministers in Andhra they will become 60. As most ministers and there depts. indulge in corruption. Creating new state means creating new hub of corruption. telangana will move from bad to worse. This just the political conspiracy hatched by MLA's from telangana. People of telangana should understand this before making demand for new state. Instead they can ask for allocation of more funds for the region's development.

its bettr to merge all states in 4 # Zones only to avoid the after effects mentioned by you which will st of runing states.
